Kieron Pollard captain's MI Cape Town and he can call on Liam Livingstone, Olly Stone and Sam Curran along with Tom Banton and Nuwan Thushara from overseas. Proteas duo Kagiso Rabada and Rassie van der Dussen are others who will have big roles to play.

Last season MI Cape Town failed to make the semi finals. In the outright betting at the time of writing they were trading at 4/1 to win the tournament

The Super Giants are currently trading at around 1.02/1 to win the game and MI Cape Town can be backed at around 0.83/1

The Verdict

The squads look evenly matched but my slight preference is for the Super Giants to make a winning start in front of their own supporters. I'll get a little more adventurous when all the teams have a game or so under their belts but for now it's Durban on the board for me.
