The second of three One Day Internationals between South Africa and India takes place at St Georges Park Port Elizabeth on Tuesday and the Proteas are tasked with bouncing back from a big hiding in the series opener
The first contest took place at The Wanderers on Sunday and India cruised to an 8 wicket victory. South Africa won the toss and opted to bat first, it didn't take long for them to regret that decision and they were bowled out for just 116 in 27.3 overs. Phehlukwayo top scored with 33 and de Zorzi made 22 whilst Hendricks, van der Dussen and Mulder were all removed without scoring. Arshdeep Singh took 5 wickets and earned the Man of the Match award and Avesh Khan claimed 4 wickets.
Sai Sudharsan (55 not out) and Shreyas Iyer (52) helped India home in just 16.4 overs.
This was how the teams lined up in the first ODI
South Africa: Reeza Hendricks, Tony de Zorzi, Rassie van der Dussen, Aiden Markram (c), Heinrich Klaasen (wk), David Miller, Wiaan Mulder, Andile Phehlukwayo, Keshav Maharaj, Nandre Burger, Tabraiz Shamsi
India: KL Rahul (c & wk), Ruturaj Gaikwad, Sai Sudharsan, Shreyas Iyer, Tilak Varma, Sanju Samson, Axar Patel, Arshdeep Singh, Avesh Khan, Kuldeep Yadav, Mukesh Kumar
St. Georges Park, Port Elizabeth
Over the course of the last decade South Africa have won 3 and lost 4 of 7 ODI's at St. Georges.
The most recent ODI at this venue saw South Africa beat Sri Lanka by 6 wickets back in 2019.
In February 2018 India beat South Africa by 73 runs with their bat first total of 274/4 being more than enough and Kuldeep Yadav claimed 4 wickets.
The teams met here in a T20 last week and South Africa won by 5 wickets (DLS)

The Betting - 2nd ODI
At the time of writing South Africa are 11/10 to win the match and India are 0.67/1.
Ruturaj Gaikwad is 33/10 to top score for India and van der Dussen is the same price to do likewise for South Africa.

The Verdict
It all went pear shaped for the Proteas at the Wanderers but I wouldn't totally rule them out of squaring the series and forcing at decider at Paarl on Thursday.
On to the bets and Reeza Hendricks hit 49 off 27 balls in the T20 at St. Georges last week and whilst this is the 50 over format, that knock earns him the vote to make a half century here.
Kuldeep Yadav has form at this venue, albeit from a few years ago and I will side with him to take 3 wickets or more
Bets: Player to score a 50 Reeza Hendricks? (yes) at 2/1 with Sportingbet
Player Wickets Kuldeep Yadav over 2.5 at 5/2 with Sportingbet
