The third and final T20 International between South Africa and India takes place at The Wanderers, Johannesburg on Thursday, rain has had a big say in the series so far and the Proteas have a 1-0 lead.
The first T20 at Durban was completely washed out and South Africa won the second contest at Port Elizabeth on Tuesday by 5 wickets (DLS).
South Africa won the toss and opted to bowl first and both Indian openers were removed without scoring. Skipper Suryakumar Yadav led the recovery with 56 and Rinku Singh top scored with 68 and the innings closed on 180/7 from 19.3 overs when the rain arrived. Gerald Coetzee took 3 wickets whilst Shamsi with 1/18 from his 4 overs earned the MoM award.
After the rain delay South Africa were set a revised DLS target of 152 off 15 overs. In the chase Reeza Hendricks top scored with 49 and Markram made 30 and South Africa (154/5) got up in 13.5 overs. Mukesh Kumar was expensive but took 2 wickets.
This was how the teams lined up on Tuesday.
South Africa: Matthew Breetzke, Reeza Hendricks, Aiden Markram (c), Heinrich Klaasen (wk), David Miller, Tristan Stubbs, Marco Jansen, Andile Phehlukwayo, Gerald Coetzee, Lizaad Williams, Tabraiz Shamsi
Did not play: Keshav Maharaj, Nandre Burger, Ottniel Baartman, Donovan Ferreira
Note, Coetzee and Jansen were originally named in the squad for the first 2 T20 matches although at the time of writing I was unable to determine if the washout in Durban may have led to a change the thinking.

Did not play: Shreyas Iyer, Deepak Chahar, Ravi Bishnoi, Ishan Kishan, Washington Sundar, Ruturaj Gaikwad

The Verdict
OK I'm open minded about the match result outcome but looking at the “to score a 50 market and after scoring big on a more difficult batting wicket than The Wanderers will hopefully throw up Suryakumar Yadav and Reeza Hendricks get the votes.
Bets: To Score a 50 Suryakumar Yadav? (yes) at 9/4 with Sportingbet
To Score a 50 Reeza Hendricks? (yes) at 5/2 with Sportingbet
