I SALUTE YOU has run two fair races to date. He returns from a 12-week break, during which time he would have strengthened up. Gavin Lerena is booked to ride and if not in need of the run, he should pose a threat.

REAL WAR is better than his last start suggests as he was reported to be cut into and coughing. The son of Act Of War has plenty of scope and with Craig Zackey back in the saddle, he should fight out the finish

Race 2

MY BOY LOLLIPOP showed good speed over this C&D last time but found one too good in the form of Maphaka. He has finished second four times from five starts over this C&D. Sean Veale steps back into the saddle and the combination may find themselves in the winner’s enclosure.

ONE SCOTCH ran a decent race on debut over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville. The son of Rafeef would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should be competitive.

MEERKAT MOON finished 3.2 lengths behind the top choice on debut. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and he may have to settle for the same result. He is a progressive type and can finish in the placings.

Race 3

BLIND SPEED has shown good improvement in each of her races to date. She was green in running over this C&D last time, but finished her race off strongly. It must be noted that the form of that outing has been franked. The daughter of New Predator is a progressive type and with luck in running, she should be the one to beat.

YELLOW JACKET set the pace over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time and stayed on to finish third. Apprentice Nirvan Nastili is likely to adopt the same tactics today and the pair may be hard to peg back.

LONG STREET was disappointing in her last start over a mile. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. She gets the services of Gavin Lerena who may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most.

Race 4

AMIGO stayed on when third over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. The manner in which he finished off his race that day suggests that he will love the rise to 1950m. The son of Vercingetorix is coming along the right way and he may be the one to side with in this line-up.

TIBBOTT BOURKE has decent recent form lines to his credit. The son of Global View should love the rise to 1950m. He will strip a much fitter horse today and should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

BELLA’S PABLO has finished second in his last three starts. It must be noted that multiple horses from his last form line have come out and won since. He is likely to race on the speed from his good draw of two and may be rewarded for consistency.

Race 5

ABERDEEN is better than his last start as he was reported to be not striding out post race. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. He has won once and finished second twice from four starts on this course. If finding the form of his penultimate run, he should notch up his second-career victory.

MASTER OF DESTINY won a good race in his last start over this C&D. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He is in a good space and can follow up.

NOCTURNAL FLIGHT may not have seen out 2400m last time. He finished 0.5 lengths behind the second choice, three runs ago. He is 0.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.

Race 6

PRAY FOR RAIN finished 0.8 lengths behind LUNARCAM last time. He is 3kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. Four of his five career victories have come over this distance. On best form shown, he may be the one to beat.

DONQUERARI finished 0.5 lengths behind LUNARCAM in the race referred to above. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and should turn the form around. He has won twice, finished second once and third three times from nine starts over this C&D. The 5yo gelding merits healthy respect.

LUNARCAM showed good speed over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time, but found one too good in the form of King Of The Gauls. He is likely to race on the speed once again and may be hard to peg back.

Race 7

LUCRATIVE is much better than her last start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. She was super-impressive when winning on debut over this C&D. The daughter of Vercingetorix has plenty of scope and with Craig Zackey back in the saddle, she should be involved at the finish.

ONE SMART COOKIE got up where it matters most when winning her last start over this C&D. She received a two-pound penalty for that victory. She is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

COLORADO CREEK finished 1.8 lengths behind EMERALD GREEN last time. She is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

Race 8

NOW I GOT YOU showed signs of needing his last start over this C&D. The son of Admiral Kitten would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. He has dropped in the ratings and drops back in class. It is encouraging that Muzi Yeni keeps faith in the ride and he is capable of causing the upset.

TEATIME TIPPLE should have finished closer to the winner last time as he was steadied at the 600m mark. The manner in which he races suggests that he should not have any issues with the drop to 1200m. On best form shown, he should pose a massive threat.

MUSIC IS LIFE showed good signs of a form return in his last start over this distance on the polytrack. If confirming his recent improvement, he should be involved in the fight to the finish
