Possibly some early value here. FM has played eight Masters with two M/C's in his first four visits. His last four run 50/35/20/5. He has settled in the USA and only returned to competitive golf a few weeks ago. His five under for T15 at Houston last week was pretty impressive on a very tough lay out. The rain forecast for the tournament may slow the fairways and greens down which may not suit him but I still think these odds at BetX look longer than I would offer.
US Masters
1-6
F Molinari @ 35/1

Yeh Gods - This is awful. Augusta is not "infamous " - it is famous. Tiger Woods has not won 15 Grand Slams - in fact I have never seen him on a tennis court before. Jack has won 18 majors so Tigers 15 tennis "Grand Slams" do not make him the best golfer ever. They don't make him the best tennis player either as both Federer and Nadal have won 20 grand slams.
I am starting to really like that 35/1 Molinari bet with BetX if this is what they come up with on the Masters.

Its gonna be some good viewing either way.

Watson - 33/1
Reed - 33/1
Finau - 35/1
Simpson - 40/1
Smith - 100/1

DeChambeau to miss the cut - 13/2
(yeah, yeah! Probably wishfull thinking,I know, but if things go wrong for him,I feel he can really fall apart)

Id be swerving Molinari like the plague... treble figures in places and you can also get 11 places with other firms, not to mention that since hitting the water on 12 there last year his game has gone to piss! No top 10's in his last 20 starts, delayed returning to golf and Recently moved his family to California which means alot less access to his coach, he also has a pretty bad Augusta record with only 2 sub 70 rounds out of his 28 there.

Id easily name 20 better picks!

Xander Shauffele is my headline choice and some lively big priced outsiders in

Wallace
Van Rooyen
Si Woo Kim

Sadly us fellows on the southern tip of Africa get glorious golf weather but crap books. Best across my seven active accounts - 1/5 odds on top 7 so no 11 places. Regarding FM's abilities we agree on his mental state but disagree on his ability to place top 6 at the Masters. I know that when Eldrick got his arse whipped by YE it took him 10 years to win another major - So yeah I may be asking a lot of FM to recover in under two years and place at the Masters - BUT - We must remember that Eldrick can only operate when the crowds are for him - hence his crap Ryder Cup record away from the USA. FM is going to contest this Masters with no "IN THE HOLE"or "YOU"RE THE MAN"shit because there are no crowds and I think he may be mentally strong enough to build on his eight previous efforts here. Probably going to get a M/C by a mile or an excellent pay-out and I still think the 35/1 is value.

Lets see. A 180/1 shot probably carrying mental scars from 2019 against the 16/1 runner-up from that year. Call me stupid but I fail to see the value there so I must respectfully decline. Good luck kc. May the golfing God's smile on the punters in this crappy year of 2020.

Course looks pretty defenseless when the greens are holding. Probably still see another 50 sub par rounds today. Could be some value in this market at Sportingbet
Round 2
Casey and Westwood both shoot sub 70 in round two @ 10/1

Durn Rory comes to the party big time yesterday so my Cantlay six under is dead heated. While waiting for today's three balls saw this out right.
Weather is supposed to be bright sunshine for remainder of tournament and greens are expected to get quite a bit faster so scoring is going to be a little more difficult.
Winning Score
271 - 274 Inclusive @ 16/10

Weather forecast I got was dodgy but DJ has lost four third round leads in majors so the 271-274 not completely gone. A few three balls for me in round four to add a little spice to the watch.
Masters Final Round
Taylor @ 33/10 over Oosthuizen/Rose. Beat them by 6 and 7 yesterday.
Schwartzel @ 3/1 over DeChambeau/Langer. BDC just too erratic and age against BL in last round
Ogletree @ 5/2 over Poulter/Weir. Only player in group playing for trophy.
Spieth @ 14/10 over Mickleson/C-Bello. No contest
Jazz @ 3/1 over Morikawa/Howell. Jazz quite capable of producing really low rounds so taking on odds

I'm afraid this tournament should have been cancelled. Players firing darts at holding greens - putts not breaking anything like they normally do - balls sitting on the banks of 12 and 15 - 43 players under par and a handful of first timers at double figures under par. Looked like any PGA tournament on a course that looked vaguely familiar. I also missed the crowd here more than I have at any other sporting event to date. Pleased that DJ won though and was not won by someone from left field as a result of the abnormally easy conditions.

Tend to agree. Countless sporting events cancelled this year, many without the prestige of the Masters. Just feels a bit hollow, despite a very good DJ performance.
