Overall I finished ahead with a mixture of last minute losses and wins. I was up and down from the start but edged ahead with under 5.5 tries in Bok game and then had a nice win on Wales -4.5 and -5.5
Performance of the weekend for me was the Boks, game of the weekend Wales v Fiji and flop of the weekend Argentina

With caps that big, particularly the 70.5, it’s just such a massive number that really requires a team to take every single chance with almost no room for error. Something as simple as a yellow card or a 5-10 minute stretch where the attack goes quiet can easily prevent a team from covering a massive cap. The All Blacks also haven’t exactly been their most clinical, ruthless selves of late. A few NZ handling errors could be all that Namibia needs to cover the cap.
Namibia has covered the +70.5 with multiple scores to spare vs New Zealand in both of the previous two World Cups. Will definitely be a Namibia plus punter here.
The Uruguay +58.5 is giving me a bit more pause given the home field advantage of France, but it just seems too many points.

southpaw wrote: interesting. I was eyeing up NZ on the -66. The AB's have a 2 week break after this match, i think they will be looking to go hard at Namibia, even with a 2nd string side. Nambia 2nd game in 6 days, and i think they start to fall off like did in last 10 vs Italy much earlier vs All Blacks. I think it gets ugly for them.
I have a similar view. But comes down to conditions. If it stays just as hot these minnows are going to continue to fall apart in the final 20.

IMO it will suit Fiji's style of play more to play against Australia than what it suited them against Wales. Wales made the most tackles of any team in the first round. Just don't see Australia being as efficient in defence as Wales were and Wales still leaked quite a lot. Fiji will also be pretty angry about some of the calls that didn't go their way in that Wales game. Expect them to come out very fired up.
If conditions are okay I think this game will have points so will look at overs on Fiji points.

The minnows have been starting strong and keeping it respectable in the first half for the most part. Biggest deficit at half time in the first round was Romania down 25 to Ireland. For me, Ireland’s form is a bit better than NZ and I rate Namibia a bit more than Romania. If Namibia can keep it within 21ish at the half that’s going to be a mighty tall task to cover the 70.
I will also be adding Namibia +33.5 first half.

Botia and Tuisova should be fit to start and this match becomes Fiji's final now.
Will play Fiji overs rather than handicap though.
Apologies for posting a Pro2 pick here.
Agen play Nevers at home this evening.
I would welcome Pablo's thoughts here.
Nevers have started strong and fancy them on the plus away to Agen.
I've stretched out handicap to+8 @ 8/11 Boyles
Hoping to make a cheeky stash for weekend

Strongly agree on Nevers, I already took their +7 ha @1.72 2u this morning (best available line for me)
They sent a very heavy team while Agen rotates plenty from last week void match against Rouen (some important absences Barrington, Erbani, Lokotui, Tolot out). For me this should be a one score match so value in that Nevers hándicap. They're lethal in the mauls this season and with some rain during the day and humid conditions they will have advantage in that área.

Red card for Nevers in 12th minute. Very nice ...

Bet : Under 73.5pts
Sure Uruguay come out all guns blazing for this.
So did Romania, Namibia and Chile in Round 1, scoring 8, 8 and 12 pts in their matches.
Shaun Edwards has transformed the French defence so expect any French Test XV to follow script.
I don't see Uruguay scoring many here - bookies have them scoring 9 -10pts
Handicap is hovering around minus 51-53 pts so suggests value in going under points total
There is the chance that Villiere and Bielle-Biarrey make hay but it is a very different French lineup and you expect cohesion might slow the points counter.

I have followed you Brent with the NZ Minus, got -67.5
But also included a couple of Try scorers
Luke Jacobsen 2 or more @ 26/1 - Remember him always popping up with the odd one. Hoping he will get the full 80 min since not been a starter most probably in next game.
Leceister faingkulu - 3 or more trys at 10/3
Think one of the wings will get some and the ball always seems to follow him.
Enjoy the ruggers

Canterbury -21.5 vs Southland is tasty
On to the WC -
NZ 2nd half total points 41.5 appeals - Namibia dropped off badly in the second against Italy and this could turn ugly
Chile over 10.5 (line is moving up) is probably my strongest of the weekend -

That was lovely to watch BG .
Next game I'm finding hard , Tonga are way short of Fiji and Samoa for that matter , strong irish side , Wayne Barnes on the whistle .... have found under 60.5 points and I'll throw a few pound at that .
