R5 - Kwintas Light 9/1 ew. No luck last time out, GVN to make ammends aboard.
R6 - hard to take on CD but AT MY COMMAND was one i liked early in career. Went off boil a bit, has 2nd run after gelding today, last time out impossible task from draw. Hoping for a better run today, 33/1 ew weighted to place.
R7 - ultra competitive Filles Guineas this year. I'm going with BEACH BOMB @ 17/2 ew. Not a great draw but with so many front-runners this race i think something coming off the pace could win, and she has a devastating turn of foot. Last run simply not her best.
R8 - Aragosta 9/2, quick reappearance in Cape after summer cup, seen de Kock do this with success in past.
good racing.

Barely have the strength to pick up a race card after a momentous week but quite like The Charleston in the last. Smart 2yo form including from wide draws in KZN, probably needed last run at Durbanville when again badly drawn and think she will enjoy going up the straight at Kenilworth today.
Quick update on Royal, back in KZN safe and sound and took the Summer Cup race and the travel really well. All options being considered by trainer for his next move be it a holiday, a stint in WCape (and a possible crack at the MET) or another Joburg raid.
Play well guys

Kenilworth
Race 1
Timeline @ 10/1 (BetX) - Positive comments from stable interview, and nicely bred. Stable also brings there 2 year olds ready.
Regina Tamara @ 35/1 (WSB) - This is my outsider, will wait to closer to start as sure money will pour onto fav and Snaith runners. This one's siblings were all pacey early, and I remember Celestina been very pacey. Stable also seems to bring some to course to win.
Both smallesh punts as want to see where the going is.
Race 2
Some beautifully bred horses here.
Daimyo @ 28/1 (WSB) - Was on the last time when there were some positive comments from stable and never showed. Nicely bred and looking further I think, but who knows back up the straight.
Hoodia @ 25/2 (HWB) - Breeding is stunning, Half sister is Desert Miracle, Half Brother Tree Trumbo and Carbon Atom who was super quick if I remember before been injured. On breeding will definitely be looking for further, 1600 to 2000 I think, but sometimes class pulls these good sorts through.
Three Anchor Bay @ 55/1 (WSB) - Half brother to Winchister Mansion and full brother to Sand and Sea who was super fast early. Know stable comment is positive, but worth a shot at that price.
Race 3
Night Bomber @ 8/1 (Betfred) - Been following this one, was close last time from poor draw, up the straight so hoping for improvement to fav.
The US of A @ 20/1 (Betfred) - I like the bredding on this one, Dame, Half Siblings Melech and Captain Oupie were all quick early. And the swinger is the Jock Booking.
1 to watch for future is Holding thumbs, if they step him up next time out.
Race 4
Saint Brigid @ 20/1 (WSB/BetX/HWB) - Last run over 1250m was impressive, and now stepping up which on breeding should be minimum trip. Could go further I think.
Race 5
Ripple Effect @ 8/1 (WSB) - Brings impressive Jhb form. Ran less than a length behind Mrs Geriatix early in career. Coming back from long break but stable can bring them back fit. Fav looks very hard to beat but think this one could go close.
Shantastic @ 50/1 - Definitely shorter than needs and proven, but early speed over 1200m means could pop up back end of quartets. Will take for small.
Race 7
Japanese Rose @ 33/1 - Nicely bred and unexposed to the other horses. Think could pop up even though big step up.
Beach Bomb @ 8/1 - Been following this one for awhile, steps up but on dame side distance shouldnt be a problem.
And will have a small punt on Francine, just dont want not to be on her and she pops up. As South has said before, stunningly bred. And @ 80/1 not going to get to hurt.
Enjoy the racing, will post anything else a bit later.

Race 4
Sun Spectacular is 201 and having a nibble ew top 4 .
Race 5
Wide open race , I'm with South here , Kwintas Light .
Race 6
Strydom rode really shite on Thursday but I think See it Again is the right one for me.
Race 7
Japanese Rose is a lovely looking filly , followed her the last twice and sticking with her ew top 4.
Race 8
One Way Traffic looks really tough to beat and hoping for 18/10
Race 9
USA's hope
