Four matches in the seventh round of the English Premier League take place on Saturday and we look at each game including Manchester United v Sunderland and Chelsea v Liverpool

Gameweek 7 actually gets underway on Friday when Bournemouth host Fulham, we will give that one a miss and focus on rest of the coupon with Sunday's matches covered in a separate preview.

After this weekend the league takes a break for internationals and we are going to try something slightly different this Saturday with bookings bets covered here and any other bets for total goals, match results etc.. to be postedĀ on the weekly football thread on our brand new discussion forum along with tips from other members of our community If you haven't done so already, register a forum account here.

The early kick off sees Leeds host Spurs at Elland Road. Leeds played out a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth at his venue last weekend. They looked on course for a valuable 3 points but were pegged back by a 93rd minute equalizer. Prior to that they were 3-1 winners at Wolves and they can be found just below half way in the standings with 8 points to their name. Two earlier home games have been low on thrills and goals, a 1-0 victory over Everton and a 0-0 draw with Newcastle.

Spurs had to come from 2-0 down to scramble a 2-2 draw away to Bodo Glimt in the UCL on Tuesday. They have also dropped points in their last 2 EPL matches, a 1-1 draw at home to bottom club Wolves last weekend and a 2-2 draw at Brighton a round earlier. They had started the domestic season with 3 wins in the first 4 and are in fourth spot, 4 points behind league leaders Liverpool.

Leeds work really hard and the midfield could be hectic on Saturday. Anton Stach looks a fully committed type, he only has the 1 yellow in the EPL this season but that could double come Saturday.

Bets: Player to be carded Anton Stach at 4/1 with Sportingbet

Arsenal clash with West Ham in a London derby at The Emirates. The Gunners have 4 wins, a 1-0 defeat at Liverpool and a 1-1 draw at home to Man City to show for their efforts so far and the equalizer against City and winner in last weeks 2-1 victory at Newcastle both arrived deep into injury time. Their other wins, at Man United (1-0) and at home to Leeds (5-0) and Forest (3-0) all came with a clean sheet, they also won 2-0 at home to Olympiakos in the UCL in midweek. The gap between second placed Arsenal and league leaders Liverpool now stands at just 2 points.

After 1 win and 4 defeats from their first 5 league games West Ham pulled the pin on Graham Potter's time in charge and Nuno Espirito Santo took charge for Monday's trip to Everton and came away with a 1-1 draw. Nuno was in charge of Forest when West Ham won 3-0 in Nottingham in Gameweek 4, their only win of the season so far and they will kick off here second bottom in the standings with 4 points.

West Ham's El Hadji Malick Diouf looks a handy player to me but he is set for a busy afternoon with Arsenal's wide men and could pick up a card.

Bets: Player to be carded El Hadji Malick Diouf at 23/10 with Sportingbet

Manchester United and their coach are under pressure again heading into their home fixture with Sunderland. United's 2-1 home win over 10 man Chelsea in their most recent home game moved them up to 7 points but chalking up back to back wins remains a problem and they were beaten 3-1 at Brentford last weekend. Earlier home games delivered a 3-2 win over Burnley and a 1-0 loss to Arsenal and United finished the previous round in fourteenth position with 7 points.

With 11 points fifth placed Sunderland continue to impress and last weekend they again defended superbly to come away from Notts Forest with a 1-0 win. That was their first away goal of the season and earlier road trips saw them draw 0-0 at Palace whilst a Round 2 visit to Burnley ended in a 2-0 loss, their only league defeat of the season so far.

Granit Xhaka is surely one of the signings of the season, he will be in the thick of the action on Saturday and is my choice to pick up a card.

Bets: Player to be carded Granit Xhaka at 26/10 with Sportingbet

The final action on Saturday seesĀ Chelsea take on Liverpool at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea were 1-0 winners at home to Benfica in the UCL on Tuesday, a much needed victory as recent league form is below par. They had men sent off in a 2-1 defeat at Manchester United and last Saturday's 3-1 loss at home to Brighton. Their last league win came on 30th August, 2-0 at home to Fulham and they have 8 points to show from their first 6 league games.

It's been a bad few days for Liverpool who last 1-0 at Galatasaray in the UCL in midweek, a game where goalkeeper Alisson and striker Ekitike picked up knocks, watch the media for news of their well being. A late Palace goal saw Liverpool go down 2-1 at Selhurst Park last weekend ending their 100% record across all competitions this season. They remain top of the EPL with 5 wins and that 1 defeat but the gap to second placed Arsenal has been reduced to 2 points.

With 2 red cards in the last 2 league games and Joao Pedro also getting sent off in the UCL in midweek Chelsea look to have a problem but I see a few candidates in this Liverpool side too. Just maybe Chelsea will be mindful of the need to stay out of the referees notebook and the visitors will pick up more cards than the hosts.

Bets: Most cards, Liverpool at 1.45/1 with Betway
