With a bit of luck in running, he can go one better.
LITTLE CRACKER finished 0.9 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 0.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.
BILINGUAL‘S last two starts in KZN have been fair. She had excuses on both those occasions. She jumps from a good draw of two and should give the males a run for their money.
Race 2
GREENLIGHT QUEEN showed good signs of a form return over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time. She has won once and finished second once from three starts over this distance. She drops in class and despite her big mass of 62kgs, she can return to winning ways.
ON BOARD is better than her last start over this distance on the turf. She finished 2.2 lengths behind ILHA DA ORANGE in her penultimate outing. She is 3kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.
ILHA DA ORANGE‘S last two starts have been good. She drops back to Class 5 Company and merits healthy respect.
Race 3
CHAMPAGNE PROBLEMS‘ last two starts at Hollywoodbets Scottsville have been fair. She stayed on at the finish on both those occasions. With a bit of luck in running, she can shed her maiden tag in this line-up.
CHIMES AT MIDNIGHT ran a fair race over this distance on the turf last time. The daughter of Soar With Eagles is a progressive type and jumps from pole position. She is one of the leading contenders in this line-up.
SAUDI SWEEP returns from a 15-week break and is having her first run for Louis Goosen. She finished third in her only attempt on this course. On best form shown, she is capable of winning a race of this nature.
Race 4
SALLY PORT showed good improvement in her last start over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. She set the pace that day, but found one too good in the form of Gallic Victor. The daughter of Act Of War should have no issues with the rise to 1600m. She is back against her own sex and may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.
DEE DAY is better than her last start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. If finding the form of her penultimate outing, she should go close.
SHEEZAROCKET returns from an 11-week break which may have done her the world of good. It must be noted that the form of her last outing has been franked. Rachel Venniker takes the 1.5kgs off her back and she can finish in the placings.
Race 5
QHAWEKAZI was not beaten far in her last start over 1500m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. She has won twice, finished second once and third once from eight starts over this distance. She finished third in her only attempt on this course. The daughter of William Longsword gets the blinkers fitted which should keep her mind on the task at hand. From her good draw of two, she can return to winning ways.
SCHIPOLE ran on from last when sixth over this distance last time. She takes a rise in class, but has plenty of scope and should give a good account of herself.
JAZZ CAFE fought hard for her last victory over this distance on the turf. She is having her first run on the polytrack and if taking to the surface, she can follow up.

HITHEMHARDSUNSHINE ran a fair race over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time. He drops in class and gets the services of 4kgs claiming apprentice Damyan Pillay which will assist his cause. He won his only attempt over this C&D and may be the horse to side with.
MR HENLEY is better than his last start over 1200m. His penultimate run when third over this C&D catches the eye. From pole position, he should pose a massive threat.
MOJO MAN lost a length leaving the start last time and stayed on to finish fourth. He finished 1.05 lengths behind the second choice in his penultimate run. He is 4kgs worse off at the weights today and may battle to turn the form around.
Race 7
ISIKWISHIKWISHI has finished second in his last three starts. He took on stronger over 1400m last time and found one too good in the form of Imposing. He has won once, finished second twice and third once from five starts on this course. He drops back in class and will be mowing down the frontrunners.
RAINBOW REWARD has finished third in his last two starts over this C&D. He drops back in class and is one of the leading contenders.
ACACIA‘S BLOSSOM received a bump leaving the start last time, but stayed on at the finish. She has won three times and finished third twice from seven starts over this C&D. She jumps from a good draw of three and should give the males a run for their money.
Race 8
BANK STREET was an easy winner of his last start over this C&D. He received a bump leaving the start, but showed a good turn of foot and drew clear of the opposition. The son of Global View received a four-pound penalty for that victory. He does face stronger, but carries a handy galloping mass of 54kgs and can follow up with another victory.
UNICORN ALERT is having his first run for the Yogas Govender stable. His last outing when second over 1160m at Turffontein was good. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.
MVELELO is better than his last start at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. If finding the form of his penultimate run when second on this course, he should be right there
