We got a full house in last week’s newsletter the Best Bet over 7.5 tries arriving in the Lions v Leinster and the 12/1 ACCA also came home.
Overall it was one of my better weekends only soured by my last bet where I got a bit greedy on the Griquas tries, points and handicap to give some hard earned profits back.
There is no doubt the bookmakers were bleeding though and this week they have been very cautious to price up on any games where team selections could surprise.
THE HANDICAP
I get the feeling that guest on last nights THE HANDICAP, @HanrickSwart has the right view when he says that he is taking a more conservative approach this weekend. SHARKS TO HAMMER DISINTERESTED MUNSTER
The bookies waited for team news before pricing up Bulls v Leinster and the -10.5 highlighted in the preview was snapped up quickly. I would still take the -13.5 Bulls against a very young Leinster side but I really want to look at points or tries in that game and we don’t have lines yet and I will post any bets in the forum.
I am actually going to go with a line that has been fairly stable all week and back the Sharks to win by 6 points or more. Munster were brilliant last week against WP but are missing a few players from that performance and they have nothing to play for as they will finish 5th.
The Sharks could still move up the table if the Bulls (I hope not) or Connacht lose (they play after Sharks) so should be the more motivated of the 2 sides.
