The latest Goodforthegame newsletter penned by @BrentGraham with best bets for the weekend 23rd to 25th June and a 16/1 acca with @WorldSportsBet
There was no newsletter last week and perhaps it was just as well as the Sharks -8.5 against the Pumas was going to be my Best Bet.
It was a weekend where on the face of it I shouldn’t have done too badly having tipped the Cheetahs at 15/10 and the Chiefs on the Handicap (-11.5) while losing my Sharks bet and also my Blues outright pick. It is amazing when you are out of form how things go against you though and the two games I was able to watch were the ones I bet biggest on and needless to say that was the Blues and Sharks matches.
I got to the end of the weekend feeling like I really needed something to go my way and having backed the Australians to win the first Ashes Test I was glued to the TV screen on Tuesday evening as the Australians looked to chase down 281 for victory.
Every time they edged into favouritism with the bookies they would lose a wicket and with 54 runs still needed and only 2 wickets in hand I had pretty much written this one off. Thankfully the Aussies came back to win the match and I am hoping to take that momentum into this Rugby Finals weekend.
THE HANDICAP
It was great to have Darren from Pokerbet joining myself and The Understaker @HanrickSwart on last night’s show which included a live cross-over to South Africa’s biggest online cash game with blinds of R250 and R500. There was quite a lot of agreement amongst the panel and for that matter the live chat.

CHEETAHS TO KICK CLEAR IN BLOEM!
I handicapped the Cheetahs -10.5 at home to the Pumas in the Currie Cup final and so while being tempted by under 54.5 points (recent Pumas games have been low scoring) I am going to stick to my guns and will back the Cheetahs on the cap.
They were impressive last week against the Bulls and I just have a feeling that much like England in RWC 2019, the Pumas may have played their final a week early.
