Our newsletter winning run came to a sad end last week when the Sigma Lions missed that conversion which would have given them the 35 points required. They botched a couple of more opportunities in the final minutes and the result triggered a pretty poor weekend for me culminating in a big loss in the Boks v British and Irish Lions game where I was on over 40.5 points and this despite correctly predicting on Twitter that the game would be a stop-start affair after the Rassie video.
NOTHING BETTER THAN A COLLAPSED SCRUM
Talking about videos, on last night’s edition of THE HANDICAP “Rugby Chat that Matters” I was joined by @OraclePedia, @HanrickSwart and @UKRugbyBets.
A special thanks to @HanrickSwart who stepped up at the last minute when it appeared @UKRugbyBets was going to be looking after his 1 year old, but fortunately the lullabies worked and we ended up having 3 guests on the show and some excellent participation from the live viewers as always.
The panel looked at the 3rd and deciding Test between the Boks and Lions, Bledisloe Cup opener between New Zealand and Australia as well as the Currie Cup and NPC matches.
There were plenty of laughs including Oracle being asked for an opinion on the All Blacks v Wallabies which he somehow turned to a Rugby World Cup discussion culminating in a Rugby Championship pick – it was Oracle in top form and we also had Hanrick admitting he "loves a collapsed scrum".

POINTS TO FLOW IN THE BIG HOLE
On last nights show we all agreed the over 55.5 points looked a cracker in Kimberley. The line has shifted only slightly overnight and given we have good conditions, an in form Griquas and a Lions team always looking to attack the over 56.5 points gets the nod as this week’s best bet
