France 23The latest Goodforthegame newsletter penned by @BrentGraham with best bets for the weekend 8th, 9th March and a 14/1 acca with @WorldSportsBet

The dust has settled following my all or nothing punt on the Sharks and after a woeful display I came up with nothing.

As mentioned in last weeks newsletter that loss has somewhat forced me into a punting break but the truth is it is something of a relief. I was betting on too many games and the pressure was telling. I was no longer enjoying the games and was grumpy as hell over the weekends, just ask my wife.

This is the 1st time in 13 years since I started tracking my betting that I have depleted my bankroll but it won’t be my 1st punting break, the signs were there and I just wish I hadn’t ignored them.

It is not as bad as it sounds though as over the last year I have drawn on my bankroll just to get through life and there was not that much to lose in the end which meant every bet came with added pressure.

THE SHOW MUST GO ON
I may not be betting seriously for a while but I still love the game and the thrill of trying to beat the bookies remains even if the stakes are lower.

THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT
Thanks a lot to the many of you who messaged me in the last week it is much appreciated but rest assured I am upbeat and looking to enjoy some pressure-free weekends with some fun bets and acca's riding.

The Sharks accidentally left a few Rand in my Pokerbet account – I am going to try and buy my way to 20k and have started a thread on the forum – lets hope it lasts for a while!

WEEKEND PLAYS
The focus this week is very much on the Six Nations and the Ireland v France game in particular.

France to get the job done in Dublin!

As @Jumbo_Jean pointed out on X I have been "in love with the French for many years and Rands" and one again I am looking to them.

The match preview is here with more detail but I prefer the 35/20 they win the tournament to the 11/10 they win the match.

BET: 4 units France to win the 6 Nations at 35/20 at Hollywoodbets
