Liverpool may have run away with Group B, but the race for 2nd place is very much on with FC Porto on 5 points ahead of AC Milan and Atletico Madrid, both on 4.
Porto’s last game was a 2-0 loss at Liverpool and prior to that they drew 1-1 on the road with AC Milan. In 3 home matches they have lost to Liverpool and beaten AC Milan and only 1 of the 5 Porto matches has seen over 2.5 goal backers collect profits.
Atletico Madrid started their campaign well, but they have slumped to 3 successive defeats, 2 of which were against Liverpool and then last time out 1-0 at home to AC Milan who they had beaten on the road 2-1.

The Liverpool loss aside, FC Porto have been in cracking form and had a comfortable 3-0 League victory on the road last weekend. Atletico Madrid were beaten at home by Mallorca on the weekend and we are going to back Porto to come good here and book their spot in the last 16.
AC MILAN v LIVERPOOL
AC Milan can still qualify for the last 16 if Porto don’t beat Atletico Madrid. Milan themselves beat Madrid 1-0 on the road last time out and their 2 home games have been a 1-1 draw with Porto and a 2-1 loss to Atletico Madrid.
They face a Liverpool side that has won all 5 of its matches including beating Porto 2-0 at home last time out. Liverpool on the road have won 3-2 at Madrid and 5-1 at Porto.
AC Milan are favourites for this game because they have far more to play for than Liverpool who beat AC Milan 3-2 at Anfield in Matchday 1.

Liverpool away games have each had 5 goals in them in the Champions League and I expect them to play with a fairly relaxed approach and we could get goals flowing in this one.
REAL MADRID v INTER MILAN
These sides are guaranteed of last 16 action, but top spot in the group is still up for grabs with Madrid on 12 points and Inter on 10. Madrid have won 4 of their 5 matches with their only loss being a home defeat to Sheriff Tiraspol back in Matchday 2 and that after they had beaten Inter 1-0 on the road two weeks previously.
Inter started slowly with that loss to Real Madrid and an away draw at Shakhtar Donetsk. They have since won 3 in a row including a 3-1 away win over Sheriff Tiraspol and last time out a 2-0 home win over Shakhtar Donetsk.
Both of these sides are in excellent form in their domestic competitions.

Although top spot in the group is always preferred, I am not sure that either of these sides will play with an edge to their game having already qualified. I can see this will either be an exciting match with goals flowing or alternatively a fairly dogged affair and in either scenario the draw offers the value here.
