There is a full card of midweek PSL action taking place and we have a look at the two games taking place on Tuesday night from a betting angle.
RICHARDS BAY v GOLDEN ARROWS – Click here to bet
Richards Bay are bottom of the table after their first game after suffering the heaviest defeat of the weekend in the PSL when going down by 2-0 away at SuperSport United.
Richards Bay did a good job of holding SuperSport United in the first-half and the teams went into the tunnel without a goal been scored, but SuperSport United came out with 2 goals in the 56th and 72nd minute to put early pressure on this Richards Bay team that really battled in the second-half of last season.
Golden Arrows were at home to Swallows in their first game and their match was also goalless at the half-time break. Arrows came out strong though and scored in the 50th minute to take the lead only to concede a 77th minute equaliser.
When these sides met last season it was the away team that won on each occasion, Arrows winning this fixture 1-0 and Richards Bay winning 2-0 at Golden Arrows.
Richards Bay are a side that struggled to score goals towards the back-end of last season and I think that Arrows can take advantage of that weakness and get the win.
Suggest Bet: Golden Arrows Win at 22/10
ORLANDO PIRATES v ROYAL AM – Click here to bet
Pirates campaign got off to a bad start when they lost 1-0 at Stellenbosch conceding just before halftime and there were no further goals. Pirates started the game as 12/10 favourites but left the Cape without a point.
Royal AM played out a goalless draw against AmaZulu in their opening game where they started 14/10 favourites against the Durban based outfit. Royal AM really battled towards the back-end of last season sliding down the table to finish 11th with only 3 points in their last 5 games.
This fixture finished 1-1 last season, but Pirates did get the better of Royal AM on the road winning 1-0. 3 out of the last 4 matches between the sides have finished level.
Orlando Pirates are very short here at 9/20 and after their first match I don’t have any confidence in them to back them at those levels. 3 out of the last 4 head-to-head matches between these sides has seen both teams find the back of the net and at 13/10 that is where I am going to be putting my money in this game.
Suggested Bet: Both teams to score, YES, at 13/10
