England and Australia meet on Friday in the first of three ODI’s, all taking place in Manchester. We take a look at the game from a betting angle.
These sides have just come out of a three match T20 series with England winning 2-1 although Australia will carry some momentum into this match having won the final game by 5 wickets and with 3 balls to spare.
England are the reigning World 50 Over Champions and they have been priced as slight favourites here against their great rivals. Both sides should be pretty close to full strength and we should be in for a cracking series.

Finch looked in good nick in the T20’s and if he stays at the crease for any length of time he should go shooting past the 4 boundaries we require him to get.
BET: Top Home Bowler, Wood at 7/2
I have been impressed by what I have seen of Wood of late and he is certainly working up some good pace. England have an excellent bowling attack and it is an open market but I am expecting Wood to be amongst the wickets.
