Southampton is once again the venue for the 3rd Cricket Test between England and Pakistan starting on Friday and the English will be looking to wrap up the series, currently leading 1-0 after 2 games.
I made the mistake of writing last weeks preview too early and at the time of writing the weather forecast looked pretty good for Southampton, but that changed significantly and we only got about a day and a half cricket in total. Pakistan batted first and they made 236 all out and England were on a 110 for 4 when the match ended.
England had previously won a thrilling first test when having looked down and out they managed to chase 277 for victory with Buttler and Woakes putting on a brilliant partnership to take them to the win.
At this point it does look as if we will get a lot more play this weekend and this is reflected in the betting where England are 15/20 and the draw is out to 4/1.

BET: Batsman Matches Most Runs, Root over Burns at 8/10
Root hasn’t been at his best for a while now, but I fancy him to have a good game and really enjoy the Match Bets for added interest in the match.
