BettingDiaryThere are 3 English Premier League matches taking place over Sunday and Monday and we suggest a bet in each.

NORWICH v LEEDS

Norwich are bottom of the table with 2 points in 9 matches and they are currently 6/10 favourites to finish bottom of the English Premier League.

Norwich were hammered 7-0 away by Chelsea in their last start and prior to that they had come off their first 2 points of the season, goalless draws at home to Brighton and away at Burnley.

Leeds are also battling this season and they sit 5 points and 3 positions above Norwich with 7 points from their 9 games. Last time out they drew 1-1 at home to Wolves, the third successive game that would have delivered profits had you backed under 2.5 goals in a Leeds match. Prior to that they had lost 1-0 on the road to Southampton and have only won 1 match this season.

Norwich 12/5

Draw 51/20

Leeds 23/20

Suggested Bet: Under 2.5 goals at 1/1

Last season Leeds games were full of goals, but that hasn’t been the case this time round and I expect this could be a cagey affair as both sides may well play with an attitude of not to lose the game before they try and win it.

ASTON VILLA v WEST HAM

Aston villa are 13th on the table, but coming off 3 successive defeats most recently 3-1 away at Arsenal and their last home game was a 3-2 defeat to Leeds. 5 out of the last 6 Aston Villa games have reached 3 goals or more in total.

West Ham are up to 4th on the log and they have won 3 of their last 4 games, beating Tottenham 1-0 at home last time out and their last away game was also a 1-0 result away at Everton. The Hammers have played 4 games on the road this season and have yet to taste defeat.

West Ham did the double over Villa last season winning 3-1 at Villa and 2-1 at home.

Aston Villa 37/20

Draw 49/20

West Ham 15/10

Suggested Bet: West Ham win at 15/10

I have been very impressed with West Ham in their last couple of games and I think they can add to Aston Villa’s misery here.

Having a quick look at the goal markets in this game over 2.5 goals is trading at 15/20 and I like that and also both teams to score, YES, which is a bit short for me at 13/20.

WOLVES v EVERTON

We love our Monday night English Premier League football and we should have a cracking game here between 11th placed Wolves and 8th placed Everton.

Wolves are unbeaten in their last 4 with 3 wins and a draw, the draw coming last time out 1-1 away at Leeds. Prior to that they beat Villa 3-2 on the road and their last home game was a 2-0 win over Newcastle.

Everton were flying high a few matches ago, but they have only taken 1 point from the last 9 they have played for and were hammered 5-2 at home to Watford last time out after leading 2-1 with under 20 minutes to play. It was their second successive home defeat having also lost to West Ham 1-0. Their last away game they picked up a point at Old Trafford in a 1-1 draw. Everton did the double over Wolves last season winning 1-0 at home and 2-1 on the road.

Wolves 5/4

Draw 23/10

Everton 12/5

Suggested Bet: The draw at 23/10

I think this could be quite a cagey affair and while Wolves start deserved favourites, Everton have looked good on the road this season and can grab a point.
