BettingDiaryThere are 3 live English Premier League matches taking place on Thursday night and we take a look at each of them from a betting angle.

BOURNEMOUTH v TOTTENHAM – Click Here to bet

Bournemouth are down in 19th position and in all sorts of trouble having only taken 1 point from the last 24 they have played for. Their last two games have seen them hammered 5-2 away at Manchester United and 4-1 at home to Newcastle.

Their opponents, Tottenham sit 8th on the log with two wins in their last 3 starts, but both of those came at home and their last away match was a disappointing 3-1 loss at Sheffield United.

Tottenham beat Bournemouth 3-2 at home back in November 2019, but Bournemouth stunned them in this fixture last season winning 1-0.

Betting

Bournemouth 39/10

Draw 59/20

Tottenham 7/10

Suggested Bet: Tottenham win at 7/10

I was getting ready to look at some of the Exotic Markets expecting Tottenham to be a lot shorter for this game and I am more than happy to take the 7/10 that they beat a Bournemouth side which currently looks all at sea. For those looking for a bigger price the Handicap, Tottenham (-1) is at 18/10.

EVERTON v SOUTHAMPTON – Click Here to bet

This is a mid-table clash with Everton currently sitting 11th, 1 point ahead of 13th placed Southampton.

Everton tasted their first defeat in 4 matches when they lost 1-0 away to Tottenham in their last start and their 2 home games since resuming play after the break have been a 2-1 win over Leicester and a goalless draw against Liverpool.

Southampton have been in some good form of late winning 3 of their last 4 matches including beating Watford 3-1 away and then stunning Manchester City 1-0 at home.

Everton beat Southampton 2-1 on the road earlier in the season and Southampton won this fixture 2-1 last season.

Betting

Everton 11/10

Draw 5/2

Southampton 51/20

Suggested Bet: The draw at 5/2

These sides looked very evenly matched and both of them are in decent form and I do not expect there will be much between them. For those looking to the goal markets the history between these sides suggests we should get 3 goals or more and that is trading at 17/20.

ASTON VILLA v MANCHESTER UNITED – Click Here to bet

Aston Villa currently sit 18th in the final relegation spot, but now 4 points off Watford who won on Tuesday night. Villa have only taken 2 points from the last 9 matches they have played and their 2 home games after returning to action were a 2-1 defeat to Chelsea and a 1-0 defeat to Wolves.

Manchester United are 5th on the table after an impressive run which has seen them winning their last 3 games in a row and go undefeated in their last 9. They beat Bournemouth 5-2 at home last time out and prior to that beat Brighton 3-0 on the road and Sheffield United 3-0 at home.

Villa grabbed a point at Old Trafford earlier in the season, drawing 2-2 and Manchester United did the double over Villa last time they met in the Premier League, but that was way back in 2015/2016 where they won each fixture 1-0.

Betting

Aston Villa 33/4

Draw 17/4

Manchester United 7/20

Suggested Bet: Handicap, Manchester United (-1) at 9/10

Villa fought hard against a Liverpool side that was clearly well short of their best and they still lost 2-0 and although they are at home now they run into a Manchester United side, with its eye set on 4th place and in rampant form. Aston Villa won’t be able to afford to just sit back and I can see United scoring repeatedly.
