There are 6 English Premier League matches taking place on Saturday and we suggest a bet in each of them.
Let’s take a quick look at the latest Outright Betting where we find Manchester City trading as 1/3 and Liverpool at 7/1, you can get 12/1 and better the balance.
Click here for Outright Betting and other long term markets including the winner without the big 6 where Brighton are trading as 15/8 favourites.
Fulham v Chelsea – Click here to bet
Fulham are currently 10th on the table with 2 losses and a win in their last 3 starts. Their home form has been solid this season taking 7 points from a possible 9. Chelsea are 6th on the log and have taken 6 points from the last 9 they have played for. They opened with an away win at Everton, but since then have suffered back-to-back defeats on the road against Leeds and Southampton.
Goals have flowed in both these teams matches this season, but the head-to-head history suggests it could be a tight encounter and with all the upheaval in Chelsea this week I like unders here at just over even money.
Suggested Bet: Under 2.5 goals at 21/20
Bournemouth v Brighton – Click here to bet
Bournemouth are currently 13th on the table and they host Brighton who are in 4th. Brighton have this week lost their manager to Chelsea. Since the 9-0 away defeat by Liverpool, Bournemouth have taken 4 points from a possible 6 while Brighton have only lost once this season and last time out beat Leicester 5-2 at home. Their last away game was a 2-1 defeat to Fulham.
Brighton would have been rocked by the news of the departure of their coach and I think this one ends level after 90 minutes.
Suggested Bet: The draw at 26/10
Leicester v Aston Villa – Click here to bet
Leicester are bottom of the table with 5 defeats and 1 draw in their opening 6 games. Those losses have come in succession and last time out they lost 5-2 away at Brighton, their last home game had been a 1-0 defeat to Manchester United.
Aston Villa are 17th on the log with 4 points from their opening 6 matches. They have only taken 1 point from their last 12 they have played for and that was an impressive come from behind 1-1 draw against Manchester City at home last time out.
Villa have lost all 3 away matches this season and I am backing Leicester to get their first 3 pointer.
Suggested Bet: Leicester win at 29/20
Liverpool v Wolves – Click here to bet
Liverpool are currently 7th on the log and are coming off a heavy defeat in the Champions League in midweek. Last time out they played a goalless draw at Everton and prior to that had home victories over Newcastle and Bournemouth.
Wolves are 14th on the log with 1 win and 3 draws in their opening 6 matches. That victory came last time out 1-0 at home to Southampton. Their last away game was a disappointing goalless draw at Bournemouth.
Wolves matches have been the lowest scoring in the EPL, averaging just 1.2 goals each this season. Given Liverpool are low on confidence I think under 2.5 goals could be the value here.
Suggested Bet: Under 2.5 goals at 15/10
Southampton v Brentford- Click here to bet
Southampton are currently 12th on the table with 2 wins and a draw in their opening 6 games. Last time out they went down 1-0 away to Wolves and their last home game was a 2-1 win over Chelsea and they have taken 7 points from a possible 9 at home this season.
They face Brentford who are currently sitting in 8th position with just 1 defeat all season. Last time out Brentford beat Leeds 5-2 at home. Their last away game was a goalless draw at Palace.
The home team won this fixture on each occasion last season, but it is the goal markets where I am turning my attention and I am betting that we get 3 goals or more, something that would have arrived in both last season’s matches.
Suggested Bet: Over 2.5 goals at 8/10
Manchester City v Tottenham- Click here to bet
Manchester City are 2nd on the table with 4 wins and 2 draws in their opening 6 matches. Last time out they conceded the lead to Aston Villa who came back to draw 1-1. They have a 100% home record this season scoring 14 goals while conceding just 2.
Tottenham are 3rd on the table and also undefeated this season with 4 wins and 2 draws. Last time out they beat Fulham 2-1 at home and their last away game was a 1-1 draw at West Ham. Overall away this season they have taken 5 points from a possible 9.
Manchester City should be too strong for Spurs at home and my bet here is in the goals market where I think we are going to get 4 or more, something that has arrived in each of Manchester City’s 3 home matches.
Suggested Bet: Over 3.5 goals at 23/20
