BettingDiaryThere are 8 English Premier League fixtures taking place on Saturday and we suggest a bet in each of them.

Leicester City v Manchester City – Click here to bet

Leicester City are climbing their way up the table and they currently sit 17th after back-to-back victories away to Wolves and at home to Leeds.

Manchester City are 2nd on the table, 2 points behind leaders Arsenal and they are coming off a 3-1 home win over Brighton while their last away game was a 1-0 defeat to Liverpool. City were also in action in midweek playing to a goalless draw at Dortmund and I think an improved Leicester team can push them all the way and I am backing City to win by exactly 1 goal.

Suggested Bet: Handicap, Manchester City -1 the draw at 16/5

Bournemouth v Tottenham – Click here to bet

Bournemouth are currently 14th on the log with just 1 win in their last 5 starts. They are coming off back-to-back defeats away at West ham and at home to Southampton.

Tottenham are currently 3rd on the table, but have lost 3 of their last 5 and also coming off back-to-back defeats at home to Newcastle and away at Manchester United. Tottenham drew 1-1 at home to Sporting in the UEFA Champions League in midweek.

This fixture finished goalless last season and I think we could be in for another low scoring encounter.

Suggested Bet: Under 2.5 goals at 9/10

Brentford v Wolves – Click here to bet

Brentford are currently 11th on the table, but with only 1 win in their last 5 starts. Last time out they lost 4-0 on the road to Aston Villa and their last home game was a goalless draw against Chelsea.

Wolves are currently 2nd from bottom of the table and they have only picked up 3 points in their last 6 games with 5 of those games finishing in defeat. They lost 4-0 at home to Leicester last time out and their last away game was a 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace.

Brentford have a decent home record and Wolves seem terrible on the road and I am happy to take anything above even money for a Brentford win.

Suggested Bet: Brentford win at 12/10

Brighton v Chelsea – Click here to bet

Brighton are sliding down the table and are currently in 9th spot having only taken 2 points from the last 15 they have played for. They were beaten 3-1 on the road by Manchester City last time out and their last home game was a goalless draw against Nottingham.

Chelsea are currently 5th on the log undefeated in their last 6 games, but coming off back-to-back draws at home to Manchester United and away to Brentford. Chelsea have one of the best away records in the League and I think they can take 3 points against a Brighton side that appears to be in free fall.

Suggested Bet: Chelsea win at 15/10

Crystal Palace v Southampton – Click here to bet

Crystal Palace are currently 13th on the log coming off a 3-0 away defeat to Everton. Their last home game was a 2-1 victory over Wolves.

They face a Southampton side currently sitting 16th on the log, but undefeated in their last 3 starts with 2 draws and a victory. Southampton’s last 3 matches have all delivered profits for under 2.5 goal backers. I think this is going to be a tight one and I am backing the draw.

Suggested Bet: The draw at 26/10

Newcastle v Aston Villa – Click here to bet

Newcastle are up to 4th on the log and they were very convincing in a 2-1 away win over Tottenham last weekend. Their last home game was a 1-0 win over Everton and they are undefeated at home this season with 3 wins and 3 draws.

Aston Villa are currently 15th on the log and got a much needed win last time out beating Brentford 4-0 at home which broke a run of 4 successive games without a victory.

This fixture has historically been low scoring with under 2.5 goal backers collecting in the last 6 head-to-heads, but I am going to resist taking the 17/20 under 2.5 goals and back Newcastle to win at the same price.

Suggested Bet: Newcastle win at 17/20

Fulham v Everton – Click here to bet

Fulham are currently 7th on the table and they have taken 2 wins and a draw from their last 3 starts. They beat Leeds 3-2 away last time out and their last home game was a 3-0 win over Villa.

Everton are 12th on the table and broke a 3 match losing streak when they beat Crystal Palace 3-0 at home in their last start. Prior to that they had lost back-to-back away games against Newcastle and Tottenham.

11 of the 12 Fulham matches have delivered profits had you backed over 2.5 goals this season and I see no reason why that trend cannot continue.

Suggested: Over 2.5 goals at 17/20

Liverpool v Leeds – Click here to bet

Liverpool are 8th on the log, a full 12 points behind leaders, Arsenal. They won two home games in a row only to lose 1-0 at Nottingham last time out and their last 3 games have all had just 1 goal in them. Their home record remains strong though and they have had 4 wins and 2 draws in 6 starts.

Leeds are currently 18th on the log and have suffered 4 successive defeats and they haven't had a victory in their last 9 matches. They lost 3-2 at home to Fulham last time out and their last away game was a 2-0 loss to Leicester.

Leeds have yet to win on the road this season and although Liverpool are not at their best I can see a comfortable victory for the home team here. Liverpool won this fixture 6-0 last season and I will be happy to take a 2 goal win on Saturday.

Suggested Bet: Handicap, Liverpool -1.5 goals at 8/10
