I have been impressed by what I have seen from Villa recent times and have a feeling that West Ham may be about to start a slide down the table.

LIVERPOOL v BRIGHTON

Liverpool have recovered from a wobbly run and back-to-back victories see them sitting 3^rd on the table, 4 points behind Manchester City who have a game in hand going into this midweek round of fixtures. They will need to turnaround some disappointing recent home form which has seen them take just 2 points from the last 9 they have played for and their last home game was a shock defeat against Burnley.

Brighton are sitting 17^th on the table, 7 points clear of the relegation zone. They have taken 7 points from the last 9 they have played for including a 1-0 home win over Tottenham, a game which they dominated on Sunday night. Their most recent away game was a 1-0 victory at Leeds. None of Brighton’s last 4 matches have had more than a goal in them.
