The F1 grid is heading to Baku this weekend for the annual Azerbaijan GP and with only eight races left on this year’s calendar, Red Bull and McLaren will throw everything they have at the driver and constructor’s championships.
We look at this weeks racing from a betting angle and share our plays.

VERDICT
Lando Norris will know that if he wants to catch Max Verstappen before the end of the season, he needs to start finishing better than second or third and win more races. Red Bull need to find some sort of form if they want to hold onto both titles.
Norris has had his best season of his career so far but will be hungry for the Drivers Championship. He will want nothing but a win this weekend and has the right car to do so. Norris’s last three results have been 5th, 1st and 3rd. He has what it takes to win the race and now just needs to execute.
Suggested Bet: Lando Norris to win at 2.30
Verstappen knows he needs to start putting in some better performances if he wants to hold onto the Championship. He is the type of driver who knows how to win when needs be and has all the experience he needs to put in a solid performance. Verstappen finished 2nd at last years GP and I think he would be happy with a similar result this weekend.
Suggested Bet: Max Verstappen podium finish at 2.00.
