The Miami International Autodrome in Florida is the venue for this weekend’s Miami Grand Prix where Max Verstappen will once again start a short priced favourite.
CHAMPIONSHIP UPDATE
Max Verstappen won his 4th Grand Prix in 5 this season, in China when he beat home Lando Norris and Sergio Perez. He now has a 110 points, 25 points ahead of Perez, his nearest challenger, with Charles Leclerc 3rd on the table a further 9 points behind.
Bookmakers have wisely started betting “Without Max Verstappen” and that are the markets we will focus on here where we find Perez trading as the 1/5 favourite with Leclerc 8/1. You can get 10/1 Sainz and 16/1 Norris and 300/1 and better the balance.

MIAMI GRAND PRIX 2023
In last season’s Miami Grand Prix it was Sergio Perez who qualified fastest with Fernando Alonso joining him on the front row. In the race though it was Max Verstappen who stormed through to take the win from Perez with Alonso completing the podium.
This will be the 3rd running of the Miami Grand Prix and Max Verstappen has won on both occasions.

Max Verstappen is predictably short at 2/11 to win the race and I am going to look at some of the other markets available.
Suggested Bet: Esteban Ocon, Points Finish at 9/2
Ocon turned in his best performance of the season in China finishing just outside of the points in 11th and he will have fond memories of this track having finished 9th last year. He certainly looks worth a go at the price.
Suggested Bet: Fastest Qualifier, Sergio Perez at 6/1
Verstappen is a firm favourite here at 2/7 and you cannot argue against that, but Perez qualified in pole last year and he started on the front row with Max Verstappen in China.
