INDIA

India are currently top of the log with 3 wins from 3 matches.

They took on Pakistan in their last match in Ahmedabad on Saturday winning the toss and sending Pakistan into bat. India faced resistance early but after the top 4 of the Pakistan lineup fell, the Indian bowlers made short work of the rest of the batting, bowling Pakistan out for 191 runs. Top Indian bowler was Jasprit Bumrah, who took 2 wickets for only 19 runs in his 7 overs and he was ably supported by the rest of the lineup with 4 other bowlers picking up 2 wickets.

In reply India lost Shubman Gill with the score on 16 but thereafter they took control and chased down the winning runs with 7 wickets with just under 20 overs remaining. The best performer for India with the bat was Rohit Sharma, who scored 86 runs with a strike rate of 136.51 including 6 sixes.

BANGLADESH

Bangladesh are currently 7th on the log with 1 win and 2 losses from their 3 matches.

They took on New Zealand in their most recent game on Friday, in Chennai.

New Zealand won the toss and sent Bangladesh into bat. Bangladesh started off terribly, losing their first wicket, Litton Das, for a golden duck. Bangladesh then struggled to get a good partnership going for the rest of the innings with wickets falling frequently. They did at least manage to bat out the 50 overs and put up a total of 245 runs. The best batsman for Bangladesh was Mushfiqur Rahim, who scored 66 runs off 77 balls.

Bangladesh put New Zealand under early pressure with Shakib Al Hasan dismissing Rachin Ravindra with just 12 runs were on the board however the Bangladesh bowlers struggled to crack the solid New Zealand batting lineup and the Black Caps cruised to victory by 8 wickets with 43 balls remaining. Mustafizur Rahman was the most economic bowler with a rate of 4.50 runs per over and 1 wicket across his 8 over spell.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

India and Bangladesh met last year in a 3-match series, where Bangladesh won the series 2-1 at home. The last time these two teams met was this year in the Asia Cup, where Bangladesh managed to win a close match by just 6 runs.

Suggested Bet: India Top Bowler: Jasprit Bumrah at 39/20

Bumrah has shown brilliant form in the World Cup so far and he was extremely impressive in the game against Pakistan. If he can reproduce that form he can deliver profits for top Indian bowler punters.

Suggested Bet: India Top Batter: Rohit Sharma at 2/1

Sharma has been in class form as of late, having a few good knocks in his recent matches and his consistency gives me the confidence to back him in this market.
