Aiden Markram will Captain a South African squad missing a few regulars, but including some young up and coming stars like Dewald Brevis and Tristan Stubbs.

South Africa’s most recent T20 action was at home to the West Indies back in March where they lost a 3 match series 2-1. Prior to that they had been involved in the T20 World Cup in November last year, sadly failing to make the semi-finals when they lost to the Netherlands by 13 runs.
AUSTRALIA
Australia haven’t played any T20 cricket this year and their last action was in the T20 World Cup played at home. Like South Africa, Australia unfortunately failed to make the semi-finals with a heavy loss to New Zealand and an abandoned match against England proving costly.

Both of these sides will be rusty, but Australia’s cricketers have had more competitive games so I think they justify favouritism. I am going to look elsewhere for a betting interest though.

Markram has really found his feet in International cricket in the last couple of seasons and he seems to enjoy the captaincy role. I am looking for him to lead from the front at the top of the order.

Marsh really impressed me when he came into The Ashes line-up midway through the series and he has the ability to take the South African bowling line-up apart on his day.
