We take a look at some of the betting opportunities available for punters this coming Monday in our Daily Diary.
FOOTBALL
There is Monday night English Premier League action with runaway leaders Liverpool at home to West Ham.
Liverpool have yet to lose a game this season and currently sit 19 points clear of Manchester City and with a game in hand. They have only conceded 9 goals in 13 home matches this season while scoring 35 in that time.
West Ham are in the heart of the relegation battle and they currently sit in 18th position with just 2 points from the last 18 they have played for. They have lost their last 4 away games in succession.
Liverpool beat West Ham 2-0 away earlier in the season and last season this fixture finished 4-0 to Liverpool.
Liverpool are predictably short here at 2/11 for the win with West Ham on offer at 15/1. Liverpool’s last 3 home League matches against West Ham have seen 4 goals or more scored and we like the over 3.5 goals at 9/10.

RUGBY
There is live Varsity Cup Rugby on Monday night with a televised game, Tuks at home to Shimlas. Tuks have been priced up as massive favourites and are priced at (-21.5) on the handicap. We would be a bit wary of climbing into Tuks at those lines, but on the other hand Shimlas haven't shown much this season.
Looking at the other matches, CUT are (+9.5) at home to UCT, Wits are narrow favourites at (-1.5) against NWU and in the biggest handicap we can recall seeing at Varsity Cup, Maties are (-52.5) on the road to UWC.

CRICKET
There is some International cricket on the go and Monday sees the 4th day of the 1st Test between New Zealand and India and the 3rd day of the Bangladesh v Zimbabwe Test. Look out for the in-running links on the top left hand side of the WSB home page.
HORSE RACING
Local horse racing takes place at the Fairview Polytrack in Port Elizabeth, an 8 race card starting at 12:40 and set to conclude at 16:35.
Punters will be hoping to get off to a quick start with hotpot favourite Marmara Sea, Horse No. 1 in the 1st, currently priced at 6/10 and there is another odds on favourite, Linda Loves Lace, Horse No. 1 in the 2nd race priced at 8/10 at the time of writing.
The Pick Six picks look a bit trickier and I fancy the possible banker is Horse No. 1 in the 7th, Fee Fi Foe Fum, currently priced at 13/10.
