FOOTBALL

The English Premier League is back after a week off for FA Cup action and the game of the weekend looks to be Tottenham against Liverpool on Saturday night.

Liverpool appear to be cruising to the title and they are 7/10 to win on the road with Tottenham 73/20 and the draw on offer at 16/5. Liverpool have tended to leave their best work for the other top teams and that has us leaning towards them here at 7/10. There are a host of other Exotic Markets available on the match.

Bournemouth v Watford on Sunday is another exciting encounter although important for different reasons with these sides looking to ensure their Premier League survival.

Watford had an excellent Festive Season and we think they may just do the business here at 7/4 with Bournemouth on offer at 16/10 and the draw at 12/5.

There are 6 PSL matches taking place this weekend and the pick of them looks to be on Sunday afternoon when Kaizer Chiefs take on Cape Town City. Chiefs are favourites at 5/10 with the draw 57/20 and Cape Town City are somewhat tempting at 13/2.

Our best bet on the cards though is SuperSport to win at AmaZulu at odds of 23/20.

RUGBY

The Champions Cup continues this weekend in Europe and on Saturday we have the Ospreys v Saracens televised as well as Gloucester v Montpellier. This is a weekend where some teams will be far more motivated than others, but we are expecting Gloucester to give a good account of themselves and like the (-12.5) at home to Montpellier.

HORSE RACING

The big local action takes place at Kenilworth on Saturday with the 10 race card starting at 13:00 and finishing at 18:30 featuring the Queens Plate at 16:45.

Our value bet of the day comes in Race 3 over 1600 metres where we fancy Horse No. 10 Pannington at a current price of 10/1 and we can’t look past Hawwaam in the Queens Plate with the favourite currently priced at 17/20.

There is also a Turffontein meeting on Saturday with a 9 race card starting at 12:45 and finishing at 17:30.

Horse No. 1 Sarah in the 7th Race looks like being a popular Pick Six banker and is currently priced at 15/20.

On Sunday we head down to Durban for the Greyville Polytrack, an 8 race card starting at 12:45 and finishing at 16:55.

We think the favourite in Race No. 4, Jackson Wells could be worth taking on with the second favourite Blanchetta under the guidance of Anton Marcus and currently priced at 15/4 and as far as Pick Six bankers go we like Horse No. 7 in the 6th Race, Captive Gold currently priced at even money
