We take a look at the two Super Rugby AU matches taking place this weekend and suggest a bet in each of them.
The Brumbies remain favourites for the Super Rugby AU Title and they have shortened in somewhat to 9/10 from last week’s quotes at just above even money, the Reds are 21/20 second favourites in what is starting to look like a 2 horse race, but the Rebels could yet have a say and are priced at 8/1.

WARATAHS v BRUMBIES
The Waratahs have taken the dramatic step of parting ways with their coach mid-season and I hope that will turn things around. They are still searching for their first win of the season and last week lost 46-14 to the Reds at home. They now face a Brumbies side which hammered them 61-10 in Canberra earlier this season.
The Brumbies were too strong for the Force last week winning 42-14 in Canberra and aside from the 2 point loss at home to the Reds they have the perfect record this season.

This is a massive handicap for a Super Rugby match, but there is nothing in the Waratahs performances to suggest the Brumbies won’t run away with this one.
REBELS v REDS
The Rebels are coming off a bye and they will be looking to pick up where they left off from their last two games having beaten the Waratahs by 19 at home and edging the Force by 3 points in a low scorer in Perth. They lost to the Reds away and the Brumbies away in their opening two matches, but both were narrow defeats, going down by 2 to the Reds and 3 to the Brumbies.
The Reds maintained their 100% record with a comfortable win over the Waratahs last weekend, having been pushed quite hard by the Force at home the week before. They have had a disrupted week with lockdown restrictions keeping them in Sydney and, as mentioned above, they were given a good run by the Rebels only winning 23- 21 in Brisbane earlier this season.

The Rebels don’t look like a side that is going to beat anyone by a massive margin this season but, at the same time they have been competitive in every match and take their points when on offer. They could be meeting the Reds at just the right time given the disruptions to the Reds this week and I also give them a chance of winning the game.
