Hosts, Atletico Madrid are currently 2nd on the log, but by no means guaranteed their spot in the last 16. They have only won 1 of their 4 matches and are coming off successive draws. Their two home games were a goalless draw against Lokomotiv Moscow and a 3-2 win over Salzburg.

Porto and Manchester City will progress from Group C with the only question remaining who will finish top of the log.
Porto are currently 3 points behind City and they go into this game on the back of 3 successive victories although their lone defeat came away at City, 3-1 in Matchday 1.
City have a 100% record and have scored 10 goals while conceding just 1. Their 2 away matches were a 1-0 win over Olympiacos and a 3-0 victory over Marseille.

I also like the draw in this match because I feel Manchester City will be more than happy to walk away from the game with a point.
Porto don’t look in City’s class and City at their best but I think we are going to see a Manchester City team playing about 80% in this fixture.

Liverpool top Group D on 9 points, 2 points ahead of Ajax and Atalanta. They looked untroubled in the initial stages winning their opening 3 matches, but lost 2-0 at home to Atalanta last week, a result which opens the Group up considerably. They also dropped points in the EPL this past weekend.
Ajax lost the reverse fixture 1-0 to Liverpool in Matchday 1, but they have since taken 7 points from a possible 9 and their 2 away games were a 2-1 win over Midtjylland and a 2-2 draw at Atalanta.

Things are a bit shaky in the Liverpool camp at the moment, but I think one of the reasons for the dropped points on the weekend is that they were focussing on this fixture and at home I can’t see them missing out.
