stgeorgesThe Sunrisers Eastern Cape bid for a fourth successive win when they take on Joburg Super Kings in the Betway SA20 at St. Georges Park on Friday

Sunrisers Eastern Cape

The Sunrisers saw off Pretoria Capitals by 52 runs at this venue on Wednesday to make it 3 wins from the last 3 outings. They were in early trouble at 14/3 and further wickets fell but Markram stuck around and finished unbeaten on 68 to help SEC post 149/7. Marco Jansen then took 4 wickets at a cost of just 13 runs as the Capitals folded, all out for 97.

Earlier SEC were way off their game early doors, losing all 3 of their opening matches by wide margins. Since then a double header against DSG brought about a change in fortunes as they came out on top by 58 runs in Durban and then 6 wickets at St, Georges on Sunday and the now meet JSK for the first time in this season's tournament.

This was how SEC lined up last time out.

JSK won their first 2 matches, at home to MICT bu 6 runs (DLS) and then away to the Durban Super Giants by 28 runs. Things haven't gone to plan since then with a washed out game at home to the Capitals followed by defeats away to MI Cape Town (7 wickets) and most recently against the Royal's in Paarl by 6 wickets

The Verdict

The Sunrisers bowling unit is firing whilst JSK have been short of options with the quicks and I'm with SEC to clear the ropes more times than the visitors.

Bet:  Sunrisers to hit the most sixes at 12/10 with Betway
