Thursday's Betway SA20 action comes from Kingsmead where the Durban Super Giants are badly in need of a win from their clash with a Paarl Royals side who are going well
Durban Super Giants
The Super Giants hosted MI Cape Town at Kingsmead on Thursday but after MI made 69/3 off 11 overs rain arrived and the players never returned.
Since starting their tournament with a thrilling 2 run home win over the Capitals it's been going pear shaped for DSG. Their second outing in the return with the Capitals was washed out and they then suffered 3 consecutive defeats to leave them bottom of the log. That washout plus a 28 run loss away to JSK and back to back defeats to the Sunrisers, by 58 runs in Durban and then 6 wickets at St. Georges, has DSG under big pressure and runs have been in short supply.
This was how DSG lined up last time out
Matthew Breetzke, Brandon King, Kane Williamson, Quinton de Kock (wk), Wiaan Mulder, Heinrich Klaasen, Dwaine Pretorius, Keshav Maharaj (c), Junior Dala, Noor Ahmad, Naveen-ul-Haq
Paarl Royals
The Royals have avoided the rain so far and they reached the half way stage of the round robin with an impressive record of 4 wins and 1 defeat. The only blemish came away to MI Cape Town and they since bounced back with an 8 wicket win over the Capitals at Centurion and a 6 wicket win at home to JSK where van Buuren and Miller starred in a chase of 147 for victory.
This was how Paarl Royals lined up last time out

The Verdict
At the time of writing the weather forecast I checked was more encouraging, rain not only put paid Tuesday's match but also Wednesday's race meeting in Durban
so let's hope for a full game.
In what play was possible here on Tuesday Noor Ahmad looked a real handful, bowling 2 overs, conceding 7 runs and picking up a wicket and I will side with home to be top DSG bowler.
Bet: Noor Ahmad, top DSG bowler at 2.35/1 with Betway
