Tournament Preview

The infamous Phoenix Open rolls in once more on the PGA Calendar, with the flocks of fans that contribute to the boisterous atmosphere at TPC Scottsdale back with a vengeance. The event first hit the PGA Tour back in 1932 as the Arizona Open and has taken on many incarnations before becoming the Phoenix Open it is today. Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Phil Mickelson and Vijay Singh are just some of the incredible names to have won the event which has a special place steeped in PGA Tour history. The four-day crowd attendance averages around 500,000, with fans gathering around the spectacular 16th hole to create a carnival atmosphere. With over $7 million in the prize pot and over $1.3 million on offer for the champion, there is plenty to play for in Phoenix this week.

Betting Preview

Outright Winner

The field at the Waste Management Open is particularly strong with many talents from the USA and further afield keen to get their hands on the trophy come Sunday:

Jon Rahm – 8/1

Spaniard Jon Rahm continues to be the man to beat in world golf currently and with the crowd in Phoenix sure to be egging him on, he could be a very tough man to stop here.

Rory McIlroy– 8/1

In a very similar vein, Rory McIlroy is also in fine fettle at the very top of his game and conditions here in Phoenix should go hand in hand with his game.

Scottie Scheffler – 12/1

2022 Masters champion Scottie Scheffler enjoyed an incredible season last year and he will be looking to start gathering some momentum in 2023 here.

Xander Schauffele – 16/1

When it comes to ball striking, few players in the world can match Xander Schauffele and he will be raring to go here in favourable playing conditions in Phoenix.

Tony Finau – 20/1

Consistency is the currency Tony Finau deals in and the American has picked up some big wins over the past 12 months, making him a serious contender here.

2023 Waste Management Phoenix Open betxchange.com Best Bets:

Top Pick: Rory McIlroy – 8/1

Outside Shot: Tony Finau – 20/1

Golf: DP World Tour – Singapore Classic Bet Preview
Venue: Laguna National Course, Singapore
Dates: Thursday 9th – Sunday 12th February 2023

Tournament Preview

The inaugural edition of the Singapore Classic on the DP World Tour gets underway in the baking sunshine at the Laguna National Course. Previously an event played on the Asian Tour, the 9 year hiatus of professional golf at the Laguna National is over and it looks to have the potential to be an important event on the DP World Tour for many years to come. A stellar field on the DP World Tour has been assembled in Singapore and with over $2 million in the prize pot, there is plenty to play for at the Laguna National this week.

Betting Preview

Outright Winner

With plenty of big names on the DP World Tour in attendance here in Singapore, it should be an excellent weekend of golf at the Laguna National:

Ryan Fox – 13/1

Kiwi Ryan Fox has been one of the most consistent performers on the DP World Tour over the past 12 months and he looks to be mixing it in a very winnable field here in Singapore.

Robert Macintyre – 13/1

Big hitting Scot Robert Macintyre has seen his career stagnate a little in recent times but a good showing here in Singapore would give him a much needed boost at the start of 2023.

Jordan Smith – 17/1

Englishman Jordan Smith is always in the mix in DP World Tour events and how he would love to get over the line in relatively unfamiliar conditions here in Singapore.

Gavin Green – 45/1

Malaysian Gavin Green is a very neat and tidy operator and conditions should certainly suit his accurate game here at the Laguna National Course.

2023 Singapore Classic betxchange.com Best Bets:

Top Pick: Ryan Fox – 13/1

Outside Shot: Gavin Green – 45/1
