Race 1

GETOFFOFMYCLOUD caught the eye when third on debut over this C&D. She lost two lengths leaving the start, understandably raced green but the manner in which she finished off her race was encouraging. The daughter of One World would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should be the one to beat. 

LADY OF VIX ran a good race on debut over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. She returns from a 16-week break, during which time she would have strengthened up. If not in need of the run, she should pose a threat. 

MISS MAYFLY showed good improvement in her last start over this distance on the polytrack. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. If confirming her recent improvement, she should be competitive. She is carded to race on 01 November 2024 and her progress in that race will need to be monitored. 

Race 2

WORLD OF OUR OWN has produced two good runs to date. The manner in which he has finished off his races suggests that he will love the rise to the mile. Rachel Venniker takes the 1.5kgs off his back and from pole position, he may be the one to side with. 

HODGEPODGE ran on well, fought hard but found one too good in the form of Greenlitealltheway last time. She is a progressive type and from her good draw of three, she should give the males a run for their money. 

ROOSTER BRADSHAW was running on when third over 1400m on this course last time. The son of Potala Palace will love the rise to 1600m and with luck in running, he should be involved.

Race 3

SEE IT AGAIN raced wide around the turn, over raced and hung in the final 350m in the Grade 1 The HKJC Champions Cup last time. He returns from a 14-week break, during which time he was gelded. He has won twice, finished second once and third once from as many starts over this C&D. This is a preparation run for the Grade 1 Betway Summer Cup and will bring him on. The son of Twice Over should be the one to beat. 

ROYAL VICTORY ran a fair race in the Grade 1 The HKJC Champions Cup last time. This is a preparation run for the Grade 1 Betway Summer Cup as he will be looking to defend his title. The son of Pathfork merits healthy respect.

FORMAGEAR won a good race over 1200m on this course last time. Two of his six career victories have come over this C&D. He is carded to race on 02 November 2024 and his progress in that race will need to be monitored. 

Race 4

INGQWELE may not have been suited to the polytrack last time. His penultimate run when third over 1600m on this course was encouraging. He finished 0.6 lengths behind GLOBAL MOVEMENT that day. He is 4.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He should have no issues with the rise to 1800m and may be the one to side with. 

GLOBAL MOVEMENT should have finished closer to the winner last time as he hung inwards in the final 250m. With luck in running, he should be competitive. 

KING BAVARIAN has not finished too far off the winner in recent outings. It must be noted that the horse that finished third in his last outing has come out and won since. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from his wide draw and will be mowing down the frontrunners. 

Race 5

PRINCESS PALACE ran a fair race in the Non-Black Type Beach Beauty Mile last time. The daughter of Potala Palace may be at her best over this distance at this stage of her career. She carries a handy galloping mass of 54kgs and with Muzi Yeni back in the saddle, she should be right there. 

ONE SMART COOKIE has good recent form lines to her credit. She stayed on when fourth over 1200m on this course last time. She finished third in her only attempt over this C&D. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces. 

REGENERATION won a good race on debut over 1200m on this course. The daughter of Danon Platina takes on stronger, but she could be anything and may be up to the task at hand. 

Race 6

UN BLUSHED ran a good race when fourth in the Grade 1 Mercury Sprint last time. He should have finished closer that day as he had to be switched for running room at the 350m mark. The son of The United States is the class horse in this contest and with luck in running, he should take a power of beating. 

MR MASTER STARTER stayed on when second over 1200m on this course last time. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from his wide draw of 10 and will be mowing down the frontrunners. 

KUPHOLIWE finished 1.3 lengths behind the second selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and he may have to settle for the same result. 

Race 7

STORMY CHOICE rallied late when second over this C&D last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The daughter of Querari takes a drop in class and she can notch up her fourth- career victory. 

SHANTA‘S PRIDE won a good race in her last start over this C&D. She finished 2.1 lengths behind the top choice in her penultimate run. She is 1kg worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result. 

MAGICAL VIEW finished 1.5 lengths behind the second choice last time. She is 1kg better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result. 

Race 8

FLIGHT PATH should have finished closer to the winner last time as she hung in the final 250m. It must be noted that Connery has come out and won again since. The son of Flying The Flag won his maiden under Jabu Jacobs. He jumps from pole position and may be the one to side with. 

TERIYAKI fought hard to win his last start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. He is in a good space and can follow up with another victory. 

CABINET SHUFFLE ran on strongly when second over this C&D last time. He takes a drop in class and he gets the services of 4kgs claiming apprentice Jacey Botes which will assist his cause. The obvious concern is his awkward draw of nine and with luck, he should be right there
