REGULATION should have finished closer to the winner in the Grade 3 City Of Cape Town Politician Stakes last time. He was an impressive winner in his penultimate effort over 1600m on this course. The son of Legislate won his maiden over this distance. He is the class horse in this contest and with luck in running, he should find himself in the winner’s enclosure.
MASTEROFTHEDESERT raced from a handy position over this C&D last time, before getting caught late by Diamond Rock. His best form has been under Aldo Domeyer and the combination merit healthy respect.
PARATROOPER finished 1 length behind the second selection last time. He is 0.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.

MOONLIGHT TRADER raced from a handy position over this distance at Turffontein last time before getting outrun late by Radicchio. He jumps from a good draw of four and if settled into his new surroundings, he should be competitive.

KINDA WONDERFUL was not disgraced when fourth in the Grade 1 Maine Chance Farms Majorca Stakes last time. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight is a filly with class who should have no issues with the rise to 1800m. If putting her best foot forward, she may be the one to beat.
SCARLET MACAW finished 1.25 lengths behind the top selection last time. She is 1kg better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.
GOODNESSGRACIOUSME was caught late when second in the Non-Black Type The Clapham Stakes last time. If seeing out the extra 200m on offer, she should be involved at the finish.

SEE IT AGAIN was doing his best work late when fourth in the Grade 1 WSB Cape Town Met last time. He has won four times, finished second twice and third once from nine starts over this distance. The son of Twice Over is the class horse in this contest. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from the widest draw and can return to winning ways.

MON PETIT CHERIE is better than her last start in the Grade 1 WSB Cape Fillies Guineas. She won the Grade 2 Western Cape Fillies Championship in her penultimate run over this distance. If not in need of this outing, she should run into the placings.
