CHILI BOMB should have finished closer to the winner last time as he hung inwards in the final 200m. The son of Lancaster Bomber will love the rise to 1400m and should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

MASTER INCOLOR was his own worst enemy over 1600m last time as he over raced in the early stages. The drop to 1400m may suit him better. Muzi Yeni steps into the saddle and he can finish in the first three once again.

RACE 3

SUCHALIFE ran a good race when third over 1400m on this course last time. She raced from a handy position and stayed on at the finish. The daughter of Global View drops back in class and with Luyolo Mxothwa in the saddle, she can return to winning ways.

STATE SECRET finished 1 length behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish. She gets the blinkers fitted for the first time which should keep her mind on the task at hand.

COURAGEOUS was in need of her stable debut over 1400m last time. She would have come on from the run and will strip much fitter. The daughter of Canford Cliffs takes a drop in class and she is the stable elect with Richard Fourie in the saddle.

Race 6

GIMME’S LADDIE is much better than his last start as he was reported to be not striding out. He would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. The son of Gimmethegreenlight has won twice over this C&D. He is the stable elect with Craig Zackey in the saddle and can return to winning ways.

KARANGETANG moved up like a winner over 1000m at Turffontein last time, but was outrun late. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. He is having his first run for Alan Greeff and if settled into his new surroundings, he should pose a massive threat.

EVIES FIRST was a shock winner in his last start in the Non-Black Type Fairview Merchants. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. If repeating that effort, he should fight out the finish.

RACE 7

DISTING showed good signs of a form return when second in the Listed SABC Olympic Duel Stakes last time. The manner in which she finished off her race that day was eye-catching.
