BettingDiaryWe take a look at the 4 English Premier League matches taking place on Sunday and suggest a bet in each of them.

SOUTHAMPTON v WOLVES

Southampton are 12th on the table, but on a terrible run that has seen them lose 5 matches in a row, most recently going down 3-2 away at Newcastle and prior to that getting hammered 9-0 at Old Trafford.

Wolves are currently 14th on the table and they are coming off a goalless draw at home to Leicester having beaten Arsenal 2-1 at home prior to that. Wolves away form has been poor this season with just 3 wins this season in 11 and they haven't won in their last 6 away games.

Southampton 31/20

Draw 22/10

Wolves 2/1

Suggested Bet: The draw at 22/10

Neither of these sides are shooting the lights out and while Southampton are on a very poor run, Wolves also struggle to win on the road. This match has finished 1-1 for two seasons and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a similar result.

WEST BROM v MANCHESTER UNITED

West Brom have only taken 1 point from the last 15 they have played for and they currently sit 2nd from bottom in 19th spot and 9 points short of safety. They have only scored 7 goals at home in 11 games this season and during that time they have conceded 31 and have been on the wrong end of some bad beatings on their own ground.

Manchester United have bounced back from the shock 2-1 defeat to Sheffield United a couple of weeks back, although they would have been disappointed with the 3-3 home draw to Everton last weekend. They have yet to lose on the road this season winning 8 and drawing 3 of their 11 matches. They have outscored their opponents by 2 goals to 1 on the road.

West Brom 8/1

Draw 9/2

Manchester United 1/3

Suggested Bet: Handicap, Manchester United (-1) at 17/20

West Brom battle at home when they have to make some of the running and I expect Manchester United to pick them off and win comfortably.

ARSENAL v LEEDS

Arsenal are 11th on the table, 1 point and 1 position behind Leeds who have played a game less. The Gunners appear to have made a resurgence, but have only taken 1 point from the last 9 they have played for and they are coming off back-to-back away defeats against Aston Villa and Wolves and their last home game was a goalless draw against Manchester United.

Leeds have picked up the tempo after dropping a bit off the pace and have won 3 of their last 4 matches including Palace at home last time out. Their recent away record is strong with a 3-1 win at Leicester and a 2-1 win at Newcastle. Leeds away games have been great for over 2.5 goal backers and 9 of the 11 matches would have resulted in a profit and their away matches averaged 4 goals each.

Arsenal 17/20

Draw 59/20

Leeds 31/10

Suggested Bet: Over 3.5 goals at 29/20

Arsenal haven't been scoring freely, but against Leeds there should be plenty of opportunities at both ends.

EVERTON v FULHAM

Everton are 7th on the table after coming from behind to draw 3-3 with Manchester United last time out. Their recent home form is a concern and they have lost 2 and drawn 1 of their last 3 home matches.

Fulham are occupying the final relegation spot in 18th, but they are a full 8 points behind 17th placed Burnley and they have now gone 12 EPL matches without a victory, although they have drawn 3 of their last 4 games and their last 4 away matches.

Everton 19/20

Draw 51/20

Fulham 61/20

Suggested Bet: Everton win at 19/20

This is not a confident pick given Everton’s recent home record, but I think they will be too strong for a Fulham side that look destined for relegation.
