There are 4 English Premier League matches taking place on Saturday and we look at each of them from a betting angle.
LEICESTER v LIVERPOOL
Leicester are 3rd on the table, 3 points above Liverpool in 4th and they sit 7 points behind leaders, Manchester City, but City have a game in hand over both Leicester and Liverpool.
Leicester drew 0-0 at Wolves last weekend and prior to that they had beaten Fulham 2-0 on the road. Their last home game was a disappointing 3-1 defeat to Leeds.
Liverpool will be quite happy to be on the road having suffered back-to-back home defeats against Manchester City and Brighton, most recently a heavy 4-1 loss to City. Their last 2 away games were impressive performances and 3-1 victories at West Ham and Tottenham.

Leicester 5/2
Draw 51/20
Liverpool 11/10
Suggested Bet: Leicester win at 5/2
Although Liverpool’s recent away form has been good, I can’t see their morale being very high after the City loss and I am a bit surprised to find Leicester priced as such a big underdog here although Liverpool do have an excellent record at Leicester.
CRYSTAL PALACE V BURNLEY
Crystal Palace let me down last time out when they lost 2-0 away at Leeds, a game where they were going for their 3rd successive victory. They are now 13th on the table, 6 points clear of 17th placed Burnley who have a game in hand.
Burnley have only taken 1 point from the last 9 they have played for and most recently drew 1-1 at home with Brighton. Burnley have been the team involved in the matches with the least amount of goals this season, averaging just 2 each and only 6 of the 22 Burnley matches would have seen over 2.5 goal backers make a profit.

Crystal Palace 27/20
Draw 43/20
Burnley 23/10
Suggested Bet: Both teams to score, NO, at 8/10
Both of these sides have been playing relatively low scoring games, but the stat which I can’t ignore is that in 7 of the last head-to-heads between the sides this bet would have arrived.
MANCHESTER CITY v TOTTENHAM
Can anyone stop Manchester City? It does not appear so, they are now 1/12 for the Title.

City sit comfortably at the top of the table and have now won 10 matches in a row and are undefeated in their last 14 in the League. They were too good for Liverpool on the road last week, winning 4-1 at Anfield and prior to that they had beaten Burnley 2-0 on the road. They haven't been running wild as far as goal scoring goes at home, but their last 5 matches have been won without conceding.
Tottenham got back on the winning trail with a 2-0 home win over West Brom and they currently sit 8th on the table. That though broke a 3 match losing streak and their last away game was a disappointing 1-0 loss to Brighton.

Manchester City 7/20
Draw 9/2
Tottenham 8/1
Suggested Bet: Correct Score 2-0 at 11/2
I expect Tottenham to park the bus in this one and City may take some time to break them down. In the end though I expect City to get the win and the 2-0 score line should give us a good interest.
BRIGHTON v ASTON VILLA
Brighton are up to 15th on the log and are undefeated in their last 5 matches. From a goal stat point of view their last 6 games have all had 2 goals or less in them.
Villa are 9th on the table with some pretty erratic form, winning 3 and losing 3 of their last 6. They did beat Arsenal 1-0 at home in their last start and their last away game was a 1-0 win over Southampton.

Brighton 18/10
Draw 12/5
Aston Villa 16/10
Suggested Bet: Over 2.5 goals at 15/20
Brighton’s stats don’t support this bet, but I feel they play good attacking football at home and create plenty of opportunities.
