BettingDiaryEuropa League, Football and Golf are amongst the highlights for sports betters on Thursday and we take a closer look in our Betting Diary.

FOOTBALL

There is a full house of Europa action on Thursday night and Group B is coming to a very tense finish with Copenhagen, Kiev and Malmo all within a point of each other.

Copenhagen will fancy their chances away to Lugano and they are 31/20 for the win and the Malmo v Kiev game is being priced up as a competitive affair with Malmo 39/20 at home and Kiev 15/10 and the draw 43/20.

GOLF

We covered the Sunshine Tour event, The Alfred Dunhill Championship in Wednesday’s Diary, but a refresher on the Outright Betting is that Bezuidenhout and Stone are now 15/1 joint favourites.

CRICKET

There is Mzansi Super League action on Thursday with the Cape Town Blitz at home to the Durban Heat and the Blitz are fancied here by the bookmakers at 7/10 with the Heat are on offer at 12/10 on offer. There are a host of Exotic Markets.

The 2nd Test between New Zealand and England gets going in the early hours of Friday morning and New Zealand are 15/10 to win having secured the 1st Test, while the draw is 28/10 and England 16/10.

This should be another competitive affair and we fancy Kane Williamson to score a 50 in the first innings at odds of 11/10.

HORSE RACING

Local Horse Racing takes place at the Vaal Racetrack an 8 race card starting at 13:05 and ending at 17:15.

There are some big fields and competitive races on the card and while no obvious banker jumps out we think that Green Top will be hard to beat in the 5th Race and is currently priced at 13/10 for the win. Our roughie for the day comes in the final race where Horse No. 15, Palace Green is priced at 12/1.
