Punters are in for a treat on Wednesday night with a host of English Premier League fixtures, we take a closer look at a couple of these as well as other betting options in our Daily Diary.
FOOTBALL
There are 6 English Premier League fixtures on Wednesday night, but the two that stand out are Manchester United at home to Tottenham and Liverpool at home to Everton.
United are 33/20, the same price as Tottenham under ex-United Manager, Mourinho and the draw is at 5/2. United have only lost 1 of their last 5 fixtures, but they have drawn their last 2 and Spurs have also lost 1 of their last 5, but have won their last 2 matches in succession.
Looking at the head-to-head between the sides in recent years an interesting stat in this fixture is that only one side has managed to find the net in each of the last 4 meetings at Old Trafford. You can get 12/10 that, that trend will continue.

Liverpool won their 6th successive match on the weekend when they held on to beat Brighton 2-1 despite playing with 10 men.
Everton are really battling at the moment and they sit 17th on the table with back-to-back losses away at Leicester and at home to Norwich.
Liverpool have beaten Everton at Anfield in the last 4 League meetings and we fancy them on the handicap of (-1) at 19/20.

GOLF
The Hero World Challenge takes place on Wednesday and in form John Rahm is the 4/1 favourite in this limited field event with Justin Thomas 7/1 and Patrick Cantlay 17/2 the same price as Tiger Woods and Xander Schauffele. You can get 14/1 and better the balance.
Looking down the field we are quite confident the winner will come from the Top 6 or 7 in the betting and if pushed will have a bet on Tiger Woods at 17/2

HORSE RACING
Local horse racing takes place at the Kenilworth Racetrack in Cape Town an 8 race card starting at 13:05 and finishing at 17:15.
There are a number of fairly firm favourite on the day and our first strong fancy comes in the 5th race run over 2400 metres where Miraculously Ours is priced at 18/10. In the 8th Race we think there could be some value in the 5 year old, Red Eight currently on offer at 14/1.
