BettingDiarySports betters have live English Premier League action to look forward to on Tuesday night and we take a closer look at those games as well as other betting highlights in our Daily Diary.

FOOTBALL

There are two live EPL matches taking place on Tuesday night and the first one we will cover sees Crystal Palace at home to Bournemouth. These sides are locked together on the table with Palace in 11th spot on 18 points and Bournemouth just a position behind them on 16 points.

Both sides have been through some shaky form of late, but Palace did win their last start to break a 3 match losing streak, Bournemouth however have lost 3 games on the trot. Goals have tended to flow when these sides meet and last season Crystal Palace won this fixture 5-3 and Bournemouth won the reverse 2-1. The season before both games finished in 2-2 draws.

Palace are 23/20 favourites with the draw 5/2 and Bournemouth 12/5, but given the head-to-head stats between these sides we reckon the value may lie in over 2.5 goals at 19/20.

The other fixture pits 10th placed Burnley up against 3rd placed Manchester City with City desperate for 3 points as they now trail Liverpool by 11. Burnley were disappointing on the weekend losing 2-0 at home to Crystal Palace and City drew 2-2 away at Newcastle.

City did the double over Burnley last season winning this fixture 1-0 and hammering them 5-0 at home. Burnley are the rank underdogs here at 21/2 with the draw 21/4 and City 1/4 for the victory.

For those who fancy sitting up through the night, the final day of the New Zealand v England Test could yet be interesting although the draw is trading very short at 1/20 with New Zealand 150/1 and England 12/1.

The first session should be crucial and England, you feel, will need to get Kane Williamson early and if you do fancy him to go next you can get 15/10 he is the next man out.
