There is plenty of sports betting and horse racing action for punters to get stuck into on Thursday and we take a closer look in our Daily Diary.
FOOTBALL
A busy week of English Premier League with Sheffield United at home to Newcastle and Arsenal hosting Brighton.
Sheffield United currently 8th on the log have not lost in their last 5 matches, but have only had 1 win in that time and Newcastle are coming off a 2-2 draw at home to Manchester City and they have only lost once in their last 5 despite sitting 14th on the table. Sheffield United are 17/20 for the win, the draw is 5/2 and Newcastle are 73/20, but the best bet we like based on recent matches the sides have played is both teams to score, YES, at 21/20.

Arsenal are 13/20 to beat Brighton despite the fact that they have yet to win in their last 5 games and sit 9th on the log at the time of writing. Brighton are also battling though and are hovering just outside the relegation zone having had 3 successive defeats leading into this fixture.
These sides met twice last season with both matches finishing 1-1. Have Arsenal turned the corner, well things could start looking up for them, but 13/20 they win the match is too short for our liking and we prefer the draw at 33/10.

The Mzanzi Super League continues with the Tshwane Spartans at home to the Jozi Stars and the Spartans are strongly favoured at 11/20 with the Stars 15/10 having had a very poor season to date. There are a range of markets available on the match including the total run spread in the game as well as top home and away batsmen and bowlers.

DUBAI RUGBY SEVENS
Sevens is back and punters are licking their lips as there are many fans of this game where matches only last 14 minutes and the younger generation of punters are particularly fond of this.
The first round of matches has been priced up and the Blitzbokke are (17.5) points against Kenya who showed some signs of life last season.
The majority of the opening fixtures have got fairly large handicaps and you can Click Here to bet on South Africa v Kenya and you Click Here for betting on all of the opening matches.
A quick look at the Tournament Winner Betting sees Fiji 9/4, USA 51/20, South Africa and New Zealand 7/2.

There is also Ladies Sevens Rugby and we have those matches priced up as well and New Zealand are predictably strong favourites at even money with the USA 7/2 and Australia 7/2.
