BettingDiarySports betters face a busy weekend with the Nedbank Golf Challenge continuing on Saturday and Sunday and there is also Champions Cup Rugby and Euro 2020 Qualifiers to get stuck into. We take a closer look in our Weekend Diary.

GOLF

Having shortened to 19/20 after the first round, Louis Oosthuizen saw the field catch him in round 2 and he is now the 17/10 favourite ahead of current leader Zander Lombard at 7/2 with Tommy Fleetwood 8/1. Thomas Detry briefly got into the lead and he is 11/1 and you can get 22/1 and better the balance. One man we fancy may make a run at the leaderboard is Bernd Wiesberger, he is 35/1 a win and 7/1 a Top 3 finish.

TENNIS

The ATP World Tour Finals reach the semi-finals stage this weekend and you can click here for all ATP betting where there will be a host of Exotic Markets on each match.

FOOTBALL

There may be no English Premier League this weekend, but there is a host of Euro 2020 Qualifiers live on SuperSport and you can click here for all the Euro 2020 Qualifiers.

There is also AFCON action with the qualifiers now well under way and on Sunday, South Africa host Sudan and are 3/10 for the victory with the draw 9/2 and Sudan on offer at 10/1.

RUGBY

There is a host of Rugby this weekend with Champions Cup and Challenge Cup matches as well as the International match between the Barbarians and Fiji. Let’s start with that game where the Barbarians have been priced up (-20.5) points against what looks a fairly weak Fiji side. We are looking forward to seeing the points lines on this game, but for now a nibble at the Barbarians (-20.5) will do us

There are a lot of very interesting European Champions Cup matches and one of our fancies is Clermont to beat the first half handicap of (-6.5) points at home to Harlequins. They have picked a very strong line up and at home are a tough nut to crack.

MOTORSPORT

There is both MotoGP and F1 action this weekend and in the Valencia MotoGP we can likely look forward to more dominance from Marc Marquez.

F1 action this week takes place in Brazil and with the pressure off we expect Hamilton to put the hammer down and go close. At the time of writing the betting was suspended due to a practise session, but you can click here for the link to the Brazilian F1 GP betting.

HORSE RACING

The highlight of the weekend must be the WSB sponsored International Jockey Challenge taking place at Turffontein on Saturday and here we have the South African Jockeys 19/20 for the win, International Jockeys even money and the draw at 14/1.

South African Jockey Yeni is 9/2 to be the Top Point scorer and he is 70/10 to be the Top S.A. Jockey.

There are 3 Local horse racing meetings taking place this weekend with Turffontein and Kenilworth on Saturday and Greyville on Sunday.

Turffontein is a 9 race card which includes the Monaco Million Maiden Sprint and the first race gets going at midday with the 9th and final race off at 17: 10.

The 4th Race certainly looks an open affair, but we like the chances of Duchess Of Windsor currently priced at 6/1 for the win.

The action at Kenilworth gets going at 13:15 on Saturday and the 8th and final race goes off at 17:20. Looking for a banker in the Pick Six is challenging, but we do like Dynastic Light currently 11/10 for the win in Race 5.

Greyville on Sunday is an 8 race card starting at 13:05 and ending at 17:10. We think Horse No. 2 in the 5th Race, Velvet Season the current favourite will be hard to beat at 23/20.
