LIVERPOOL v RB LEIPZIG – Click here to bet

Liverpool’s domestic form has been awful and they tumbled to their 6th successive home defeat when they lost 1-0 to Fulham on the weekend. Their home form in the group stages of the Champions League was much better with 2 victories and 1 loss, but most important of all is that they carry a 2-0 advantage into this game from the 1st leg in Leipzig.

Leipzig then lost 2 of their 3 away matches in the group stages, but they are in fine form domestically and have won 4 in a row including beating Freiberg 3-0 away in the League on the weekend.

BETTING

Liverpool 14/10

Draw 26/10

Leipzig 37/20

Suggested Bet: Leipzig win at 37/20

The fact that Leipzig have to come forward in this game will probably suit Liverpool and they may well find their scoring touch again at Anfield, but the way they have been playing I just can’t back them and, in fact, I think Leipzig are the value here to win this game.

PSG v BARCELONA – Click here to bet

PSG stunned Barcelona winning the 1st leg 4-1 on the road and they look like absolute certainties to progress to the quarter-finals. Their home form was good in the group stages with 2 wins and 1 defeat which came up front against Manchester United in Match Day 1. Domestically they are in good form and have won their last 3 matches in League and Cup competitions, scoring 8 goals without conceding.

Barcelona can take heart from the fact that they won all 3 of their away matches in the Champions League group stages including beating Juventus 2-0 on the road. They have won their last 4 in succession in League and Cup domestically and on the weekend they beat Osasuna 2-0 away from home.

BETTING

PSG 12/10

Draw 31/10

Barcelona 19/10

Suggested Bet: Under 2.5 goals at 18/10

This sounds like a crazy bet when you look at how many goals there have been in head-to-head encounters between these sides and the fact that there were 5 in the 1st leg, but PSG now know they just have to keep things tight to progress and I think we are going to see a game where Barcelona have plenty of position, but where goals may be harder to come by than many expect.

If you prefer a more conservative option take the 15/20 there are less than 3.5 goals in the match.
