Tuesday 5th May Delhi Capitals v Chennai Super Kings

Venue: Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi

Match Result Betting: Capitals 9/10 CSK 9/10

Delhi snapped a 3 match losing streak when they beat Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets in Jaipur on Friday. Chasing 226 for victory Nissanka (62) and KL Rahul (75) put on 110 for the first wicket and Nitish Rana (33) took things on before Stubbs and Ashutosh Sharma finished the job. The Capitals now have 4 wins and 5 defeats as they look for revenge on CSK who beat them by 23 runs in Chennai in Match 18.

CSK also have a record of 4 wins and 5 defeats and their net run rate is a touch superior to Delhi’s after two crushing wins over Mumbai Indians either side of an 8 wicket defeat at home to Gujarat Titans. CSK chased down 160 needed for victory in Mumbai at the weekend with Gaikwad (67 not out) and Kartik Sharma (54 not out) helping them to their first away win of the season.

The Capitals had a nightmare in their most recent home fixture at this venue, bowled out for 75 against RCB but the game prior to that saw DC and Punjab both score 260 plus. I think there is 20 runs or more in this game for Tristan Stubbs.

Bets: Tristan Stubbs total runs over 19.5 at 17/20 with Lucky Fish

Wednesday 6th May Sunrisers Hyderabad v Punjab Kings

Venue: Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad

Match Result Betting: Sunrisers even money Punjab Kings 8/10

The Sunrisers were in action on Sunday at home to KKR and their 5 match winning streak came to an end when they lost by 7 wickets. There have been some high scores on this ground by SH could only post 165 (all out) with Head (61) and Kishan (42) the top scorers. KKR chased it down in 18.2 overs leaving the Sunrisers with a record of 6 wins and 4 defeats. One of those defeats came in Match 17 when they lost away to Punjab by 6 wickets, posting 219/6 which the Kings chased down in 18.5 overs.

Punjab Kings top the standings with a record of 6 wins, 2 defeats and 1 no result. However those defeats came in their 2 most recent outings, at home to Rajasthan Royals (6 wickets) and most recently away to Gujarat Titans (4 wickets). PK posted 163/9 against the Titans with Shedge (57) and Stoinis (40) helping them recover from 47/5 but was all in vain as the Titans got home with a ball to spare.

The Sunrisers need to get the below par display against KKR out of the system, that won’t be easy against this Punjab side and I’m with the visitors Marco Jansen to beat his PP quote given he may be needed with bat as well as ball.

Bets: Player Performance Marco Jansen over 29.5 at 0.87/1 with WSB

Thursday 7th May Lucknow Super Giants v Royal Challengers Bengaluru

Venue: Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow

Match Result Betting: LSG 1.45/1 RCB 0.57/1

The Super Giants were in action away to Mumbai Indians on Monday and they slipped to a sixth straight defeat, going down by 6 wickets. Batting first they posted 228/5, Pooran top scored with 63, Marsh made 44 and Himmat Singh was 40 not out when the innings closed. Mumbai put on 143 for their first wicket and went on to complete the chase with 8 balls to spare. LSG did win in Hyderabad and Kolkata back in Matches 10 and 15 but a record of 2 wins and 7 defeats sees them bottom of the standings.

RCB have played 9 matches, winning 6 and losing 3. This will be their first action for a week when they lost at home to Gujarat Titans by 4 wickets after being bowled out for 155. RCB have won 2 and lost 2 of their away fixtures so far. When the teams met in Bengaluru in Match 23 RCB chased down 147 for victory in 15.1 overs in a 5 wicket win.

LSG have yet to win in 4 attempts at their home venue which has been a low scoring venue so far. I’m hoping batters will find it tough going again as my play is for 13 or more dismissals in total.

Bets: Total dismissals over 12.5 at 19/20 with Lucky Fish
