Our featured Betway Premiership action on Wednesday sees Sundowns host Milford FC and it's no surprise to see the home side are short priced favourites with the bookmakers
Sundowns
Sundowns return to league action after turning their MTN8 semi final match up with Golden Arrows around at the weekend. Trailing 1-0 from the first leg they won the return away from home 3-2 on the night to go through on the away goal rule and they will meet Pirates in the final.
As far as the Betway Premiership is concerned Downs finished Round 4 in second spot with 10 points, behind Pirates on goal difference. Pirates are in action 24 hours before this game kicks off away to struggling Kruger United so the picture will have changed by match day.
In their most recent league outing sundowns thrashed Amazulu 5-2 in a home fixture with Brayan Leon scoring in each half. Earlier league results include wins away to TS Galaxy (3-2) and at home to Marumo Gallants (2-0) either side of a 1-1 draw away to Kaizer Chiefs.
Milford FC
Milford have coped pretty well in the early rounds of their maiden Betway Premiership season. Although they went down 2-0 away to Pirates in their opening match they bounced back with home wins over Siwelele (1-0) and Kruger United (2-1) before playing out a 0-0 draw away to Polokwane City. All 3 of their goals have arrived in the second half from 3 different sources and they finished round 4 in fifth spot with 7 points, 3 shy of their opponents here.
The Betting
At the time of writing Sundowns are 2/9 to win the game with the draw at 44/10 and Milford can be backed at around 11/1

The Verdict
Milford have done really well but they didn’t really trouble Pirates and this is just as tough. If there has been an element lacking in Sundowns performances compared to recent seasons it is the absence of clean sheets but I fancy only one side will be in the goals here.
Bets: Which teams to score? Only Sundowns at 8/10 with Hollywoodbets
