Some great shouts Chris on your 2nd part half of racecard, what an emotional win for for Fortune and See It Again.
I was gasping for air until Gav booted home Time For Love in the 10th to save the day.
Note to Self very impressive, didn't beat too much but one to follow in KZN.
Teflon Man = unluckiest horse on day, flew for 2nd, missed break and was baulked for a clear run.
one to watch next time = Captains Angel, debutant in first race, was all at sea but finished race strongly.

What surprised me the most is the owner is a big punter, his horses always shorten if they fancied, so thinking maybe it even surprised the stable a bit.

Yeah both the 1st and 2nd horse were from the same form line behind Champagne Castle if I remember.

R6 Charge It around 6/ think still improvement to come, recall the yard saying the filly has been based in GTG for the season so imagine these triple tiara races have been in mind with her prep and 2 earlier runs here were solid enough.
R7 Grand Empire win at around 6/1 like the fact has performed well against older horses and still lightly raced, Zackey up, not drawn badly at 6
R8 Bustopinhounslow around 7/1 versatile performer but think 1600m might be best trip, drawn 1 and Rachel takes 1.5 off
R9 Winstons Wonder around 7/2, comeback run over 1200m was ok, got to think will be suited by step up to the mile on breeding, Lerena up, handy draw at 4.
Play well lads

Race 1 - Griselda shortened into 7/10 now. Really impressive debut when narrowly going down to the unbeaten Volcanic Heat. She receives 3kg from Custodian, I can't see her getting beat here.
Race 2 - World Attraction (13/20) has been backed as if the result is known already. Opened 5/2.
Race 3 - Open if one looks past the favorite, Porridge Boy who returns from a six month rest and gelding. PB def has claims based on his runs behind Jan van Goyen and Chronicle King in the Premier Champions Stake and Golden Horseshoe respectively. All depends on how ready he is for this race. Highwayman Harry (18/1) placed when we fancied him last time out and I feel he will win sooner than later. Quevano has form behind the likes of Trombolines and Magic Carpet Ride. Watch the betting as the yard has a line through Errol Flynn on HH. Richard Fourie on Quevano also a massive plus. Firestorm made an encouraging debut two weeks ago and finished only a length behind Balule. Must be a contender with any amount of improvement possible.
E/W Highwayman Harry @18/1
Race 4 - Open. Top 5 in the betting all with claims. Vixeninthevineyard has placed in 3 of her 4 runs since relocating. She drops back to 1800m after two runner-up finishes over 2000m. Shadowline is also 2kgs better off with her and should turn it around. Scarlet O'Hara (9/1) needs this sort of trip and could be anything. Knowmore is getting better with every run and step up in trip. He goes another extra 200m and should go close. He shoulders 60kg and it could be the difference between the winners and runner-up box..
Swingers, Trifecta and Exactas Scarlet O'Hara x Shadowline x Knowmore
Race 6 - Golden Palm is the class of the race and has a Group 1 win over distance. She is also drawn best as compared to every other runner I gave a chance in this field. Littlemissmillions, Lowveld Lilly, Hazy Dazy and Valentina Balducci all drawn the other side of JHB. KZN Raider, Charge It must also be included in bigger P6 perms, should you be taking on the favorite. I think Littlemissmillions (12/1) and Valentina Balducci (15/1) would have been massive runners had they been drawn better. Going to include all of the above mentioned in the P6 and hope for a result.
Race 7 - Grand Empire (5/1) had excuses last time out when finding one too good in Pressonregardless, who is no slouch. He gets the trip, is well drawn and my no 1 pick here. There has also been money for him as he opened around 17/2. I make Splittheeights his biggest danger here. Favorite, Trust needed his comeback run and is 2kgs better off with Splittheeights on that run. He holds 4 other runners here easily on the Dingaans run, but I feel he is no banker. There are concerns whether One Eye On Vegas and Tin Pan Alley fully gets the mile, both drawn in the bush as well.
Race 8 - Callmegetrix (16/10) is reported to be aiming at a feature race or two in the coming months and may not be fully tuned here. Not saying she is not good enough to win today, but for those who are playing wider perms, it might just be worth it to include a few other if budget allows. To me she still looks the one to beat. Greaterix (7/1) has had his problems and steps back up in trip to the mile. 12/10 for a top 3 not bad, he might be the one to challenge Callmegetrix.
Race 9 - My Lucky Charm (8/1) steps up in trip and class. He has a light weight and good draw. I make him the one to beat here and my best value bet on the day.
UPDATE - RACE 6 - VALENTINA BALDUCCI SCRATCHED

Race 4.
Looks a thin race , top 4 look hard to get past but picking the winner tough , leaning towards the Shadowline at this stage , should continue improving enough to turn the tables with Vixenintheyard.
Race 5
William Robertson is extremely well placed by Cornie Spies and has once again found form and Ryan Munger has done really well on this horse who goes for his 17th win. He's my first choice. Elegant Ice is my back up
Race 6
Golden Palm is on the road again and will want to put her last run behind her, she starts as favourite but I would be weary , a number of her rivals have improved tremendously over the last few months. I'm picking Charge It , the Natal raider who is improving fast
Race 7
Tin Pan Alley my first choice , back up will be Radio Star .
Race 8
The fav looks tough to beat , but Busstoponhounslow is a decent sort and could get close.
Race 9
I'll go for Sakkie de kok in the last , Trombolines .
Play well dudes
