Race 3, Tricky race but Alex Miller at 33/10 is very closely matched with Oncidium and has the No 1 gate. Won last time over shorter and 3 point rise seems fair, should be just as effective over the mile.
Race 4 Too Late My Mate at 18/10. May just have needed last run which was her third in ECP. If she can now reproduce previous Highveld form she would be hard to beat.
Race 7 Mio Destino at 33/10. Has a bit to find with Real War on paper but has had no luck with the draw in recent races and jumps from gate 2 today
Race 8 Greenlight Dancer at 10/1. Has an awkward draw to overcome and quite a few with chances but a case can be made for a decent un on some indirect form lines

Race 7 Culturati at 9/2. Form is inconsistent but still lightly raced. Penultimate run was a cracking win returning from a lengthy break. Disappointing last time but capable of bouncing back up in trip.
Race 8 Sistership at 9/2. Justified market confidence when raiding KZN last time. Tougher now out of the maidens but there could still be some blue sky in the rating of 75 with plenty of scope for further improvement.
Race 9 Hemisphere at 7/2. Gives plenty of weight all round but has a 2.5kg claimer to ease the burden and has been running in much stronger races. Big player

Race 4 Nelson Bay each way at 16/1. Should enjoy the return to turf and this trip, excuses last time but still dropped in the ratings. Capable of a bold show although appears not to be the stable elect
Race 5 Givetheatmanabells at 4/1. Third run since relocating and the first on turf, Criag Zackey up and drawn 1
Race 7 First Officer at 7/2. Highly tried as a juvenile, disappointed last time but remains of interest back in trip and back on turf with Fourie up
Race 8 Cheerful Charlie B at 7/1. Both career wins came over track and trip, back on favourite surface and drawn well with Murray up, should go well

Race 2 Task Force at 7/1, best efforts (a fourth and a second) came on this surface, 4kg claimer and the No 1 draw
Race 4 Queen Of Denmark at 18/10. Improving every run and form of latest outing franked, big player
Race 6 Record High each way at 12.5/1, Widest gate and a competitive field but should enjoy return to the poly, rating has been falling and 1.5kg claimer on board. Upset material.
Race 8 Dapper and The Wolf are both currently trading at 9/2. Both would have needed their latest outings and are down in class and should be involved. Tote swingers 1 and 7

Race 1 Steel Pier at 33/20. The 3rd of 6 runs was at this track and probably best the best piece of form on offer, drawn 1 another plus
Race 3 Knowmore at 6/1. Has had no luck with the draw lately but gate 1 today. Plenty of winners have come out of recent form lines, 1 win and 1 place from 2 runs over c&d
Race 6 Drivelikeamaster at 6/1. Long time since last win but remains consistent around this level, c&d winner now back in trip with handicapper relenting a bit
Race 7 Pumpkin Pie at 9/2. Impressive last time and form of that win franked. Could still be ahead of the handicapper though this is super competitive, all with chances.
Race 8 Quevano at 4/1. Has had some horrible draws to contend with but jumps from 3 today and looks to have decent claims as long as fitness is not an issue after 77 days since last run.

Race 1 - Mfulathela (25/1) up in trip, tries the inside track. Some form behind the likes of Bisou Bisou and Tudor Rose. Had excuses when 6l behind Forever Canford last time. Worth a small e/w. Top 4 place 19/10
Race 2 - Naretoi (16/1 e/w) enjoys the inside track. Rating has dropped 8 points in the last two months. Backed more than once in that time as well. Carries only 52kgs with in form jockey Jason Gates taking the ride.
Race 3 - Kovil (5/1) won his maiden with ease. Remember the stable mentioning in the post race interview that this horse beat Kudikaran at home. Kudikaran races later today off a MR 101. Gets 6 kgs from the favorite who ran a very good race in a Gr 2 on Gold Cup day.
Race 4 - Another e/w on a horse carrying a light weight. Shadowfax (12/1) returns from a long rest. Took on some of the best in Trust, Jan van Goyen and One Eye On Vegas. Definite chance if fit enough. Only 50kgs on his back.
Race 6 - Status Symbol (4/1) good juvenile form behind the likes of Turn It Up and Time Is Precious. Little Boy Blue (17/10) perhaps didn't enjoy the soft underfoot conditions when fancied by the stable last weekend. 2nd run after a rest so not too sure exactly what too expect.
Race 7 - Famous Lady (28/1 e/w) won her only start over this distance. Been running over further against the likes of Minogue, Care Forgot and Double Grand Slam. Formline of last run not the worst.
Race 8 - Clouds Clearing (45/1 e/w) rating dropped 13 points in the past 12 months. Bumped at the start when backed in her last start. Some form on the inside track. Top 4 place 4/1

Morning @Vin Naidoo. Thank you for the kind words. Always trying my best, confidence and luck involved! Trying to improve my "strike rate" each time but its a win as long as one comes out on top after a racemeeting.

Yesterdays tips went pear shaped after the 2nd race, with two favorites winning and the rest not impossible to find. Keep Clouds Clearing in your little black book. I feel a win is not far away.
Thanks @Coil, heres to more winners in the future!

I'm really struggling with the horses his week so small stakes on these at Scottsville on Sunday
Race 2 Mont Loisir at 4/1. 3d run since relocating, hit the post last time out and should go close
Race 5 Nordic Chief at 7/1, 2nd here on penultimate run from a wide gate, mark has eased and better draw today
Race 6 Serengetti Sun at 6/1. Excuses last time when backed, down in grade and MR dropping

Race 1 - Annushka's Light (15/4) good 5th on debut behind Ashvendra, stable comments were positive that day. Tarry stable also fancied the winner. Finished well, has a lot of scope for improvement and still raced very green that day. Could turn it around with Barry's Boy (3/1). Clean Sweep (2/1) only 1.5l behind Scots Wae Hae when unfancied on debut. Also finished off well, slightly faster 400F than Annushka's Light.
Race 2 - Trafalgar Square (12/1) not well in at the weights as has to give favorite, Champagne Mac (24/10) 10kgs. Jockey booking of Craig Zackey is what interests me. Doesn't have too much to find on Champagne Mac based on their run on the 2nd of August over C&D. With respect to the 4kg claiming apprentice who had his first winner a couple of weeks ago, the booking of our reigning champion jockey might just negate that weight swing. Another at a big price is Prophet (25/1) who was backed in his last start in Gauteng before relocating. He has plummeted down in rating, beat Gladatorian as a juvenile and placed behind William Robertson as a 3 year old over sprint trips. Last visit to the racetrack was 73 days ago but change of scenery could do wonders. Callan Murray retains the ride. E/W on both for those looking for value.
Race 3 - Pink Skies (3/1) up in trip. Hung out last time. Best runs have been when taken beyond sprints.
Race 4 - A few well bred first timers, but they will have to be special to beat Hello Handsome (17/10) who ran 3rd in quite a strong field on debut. Already 2 winners from that form line
Race 6 - Serengetti Sun (13/2) very strong claims as Chris mentioned. Taking swingers with Luneluck (13/2) who is also dropping in rating and in form. SW 1x8.
Race 7 - Hierarchy (13/2) weighted to win this with ease. Has Gr1 form behind Asiye Phambile over C&D. Eric Dubois seems to need further and has bigger fish to fry later the season. Blazing Fury (7/1) going for a hat trick but not guaranteed to go 1200m. Might be best over 1000m and also eyeing bigger races later. Sweet Green (7/2) top run behind Palace of Avernia last time and only 51kg to carry. The only danger i.m.o. SW 4x7
Race 8 - Many with chances and not much between some of the runners at the weights. Flying Fate E/W value @ 15/2. Rating dropped slightly, bumped at the start last run, enjoys Scottsville and Craig Zackey back up. Blue Lagoon (28/10) joint top weight but does bring strong, consistent Cape form to the race. SW 1x11
