Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Greyville on Friday 19th December where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Race 1

MS GALORE is better than her last start when facing winners. Her penultimate run when third over 1600m on this course, catches the eye. The manner in which she finished off her race that day suggests that she will be suited to 1800m. The daughter of Bezrin is back in Maiden Company and S’manga Khumalo may be able to get the best out of her where it matters most.

DEE DEE‘S DELIGHT showed good improvement when fourth over 1400m on the polytrack last time. The manner in which she stayed on at the finish that day was encouraging. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.

SKIPPER O’MALLEY set the pace over this distance on the polytrack last time before getting outrun late. Kabelo Matsunyane retains the ride and the combination may be hard to peg back from barrier two.

Race 2

MOVING IN has had to overcome the widest draw in her last two starts over 1200m and has been doing her best work at the business end. The daughter of What A Winter has dropped in the ratings and takes a drop in class. She has cracked a good draw of two and with 2.5kgs claiming Apprentice Jacey Botes back in the saddle, she can return to winning ways.

BLIND SPEED has improved in her last two starts over this distance. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth in her last outing has come out and won since. She jumps from a good draw of three and is one of the leading contenders.

GOLDEN ANGEL ran a decent race when fourth over 1600m on this course last time. She was an easy winner of her penultimate run over 1600m at Fairview. She is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

Race 3

This is a competitive Middle Stakes and caution is advised. The tentative first selection is QUEUE WING from the Garth Puller stable. He was running on when second over 1400m on the polytrack last time. Five of his eight wins have come on this course. The blinkers seem to have done the trick and with a bit of luck in running, he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

TROIS TROIS QUATRE was in need of his first run for the Siboniso Ngcobo stable. He would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. On best form shown, he may be the one to cause the surprise.

PLUM PUDDING has good consistent form lines to her name. She stayed on when third over 1800m on the polytrack last time. She has won once and finished second once from as many starts on this course. The daughter of Silvano will be mowing down the frontrunners.

Race 4

CHILL IN THE AIR finished 1.3 lengths behind HIGH QUEUE last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights this evening and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. The manner in which he finishes off his races suggests that he will love the rise to 2400m. He is having his peak run and can notch up his third-career victory.

HODGEPODGE was unlucky not to have won her last start over 2000m on the polytrack as she had no luck up the straight. She finished 1.85 lengths behind RODRIGUEZ in her penultimate outing. She is 3kgs better off at the weights tonight and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

RODRIGUEZ has top consistent form lines to his credit. It must be noted that Eventidor has come out and won again since. He won his penultimate outing over this C&D and merits healthy respect.

Race 5

INDUSTRIALSTRENGTH is better than his last two starts with the blinkers fitted. He was reported to be not striding out last time. The son of Gimmethegreenlight has won once and finished second once from as many starts on this course. The headgear has been removed and on best form shown, he may be the one to beat.

THUNDERBIRD stayed on when sixth over 1400m on this course last time. He is having his peak run tonight and should be cherry-ripe. He has cracked a good draw of two and should be involved at the finish.

GOTTA GO EDDIE may not have seen out the 1900m last time. He won his only attempt over this C&D, three runs ago. The son of Gimmethegreenlight cannot be discounted.

Race 6

CALL ME JANE showed good speed when winning her last start over this C&D and kept finding all the way to the line. The daughter of Querari received a three-pound penalty for that victory. She is in a good space and can follow up with another victory.

CRAFTY CROFTY finished 1.1 lengths behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms and she may have to settle for the same result.

MISS MUNROE is a winner of her last two starts over this distance on the Vaal Classic course. The daughter of Lancaster Bomber is having her first run for the Tienie Prinsloo stable. If settled into her new surroundings, she may be hard to peg back.

Race 7

CAPTAIN‘S CHRISTY is a winner of her last two starts, the latest of which was over this distance on the polytrack. She ran on well at the finish that day and fought hard all the way to the line. The daughter of Captain Of All has found her confidence and she receives her sex allowance. Keagan de Melo rides and she can bring up the hat-trick.

HITHEMHARDSUNSHINE stayed on after a slow start over 1200m on this course last time. Three of his four career victories have come over this distance. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from the widest draw and will be mowing down the frontrunners.

BOURBON WARRIOR won a game race over 1200m on the polytrack last time. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. If not in need of the run, he should give a good account of himself.

Race 8

MUSIC IS LIFE is one of the better bets on the programme. He raced from a handy position over this distance on the polytrack last time and stayed on to finish fifth. He has won once, finished second twice and third three times from nine starts over this C&D. The son of Oratorio drops back in class and he can return to winning ways.

THE MASK set the pace over 1400m on this course last time and kept finding to hold all challengers at bay. He returns from a well-deserved 15-week break which would have done him the world of good. If not in need of the run, he should give a good account of himself.

PROFESSOR LUPIN kept finding when winning his last start over this distance on the polytrack. He is in a good space and merits healthy respect
