Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Greyville on Wednesday 7th January where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Race 1

STRUTTING‘S last two starts have been good. She moved up like a winner over 1600m on the turf last time before getting caught late. The daughter of Hawwaam is coming along the right way and with Craig Zackey in the saddle, she may be the one to beat.

HARPA showed good improvement when second over 1600m on the turf last time. She moved up well before getting touched off by Pretty Kara. She would have come on from the run and will strip much fitter. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.

OWNER OF CREATION stayed on at the finish over this distance on the turf last time. Keagan de Melo is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.

Race 2

IBUTHO ran on powerfully when winning his last start over 1200m on this course. Two of his nine career victories have come over this C&D. Keagan de Melo rides and the combination may find themselves in the winner’s enclosure. He is carded to race on 31 December 2025 and his progress in that race will need to be monitored.

RAFIKI was running on when second over 1600m on this course last time. He returns from a 23-week break. If not in need of this outing, he should pose a threat.

WINTER WAVES won a good race over this C&D last time. He finished 1.6 lengths behind the top choice in his penultimate run. He is 5kgs worse off at the weights and may battle to turn the form around. He is carded to race on 31 December 2025 and his progress in that race will need to be followed.

Race 3

ISIVIVANE had to overcome the widest draw in the Listed Christmas Handicap last time. The manner in which he finished off his race that day was encouraging. The son of Erupt drops back in class and Keagan de Melo is booked to ride. From his good draw of three, he can return to winning ways.

SUNDANCE KID was an easy winner of his last start over 1800m on this course. Three of his six career victories have come over this C&D. He is likely to get his own way in front and can follow up with another victory.

PERILLA is better than her last start in the Listed Flamboyant Stakes as she was reported to be not striding out. She finished second in her penultimate outing over this C&D. On best form shown, she should give the males a run for their money.

Race 4

This is a competitive Class 4 contest for the girls and caution is advised. The tentative first choice is MILLION VOICES from the Mike Miller stable. She is better than her last two starts over this distance on the turf. She tries the blinkers for the first time which may do the trick. It is encouraging that Tristan Godden steps back into the saddle and she may be the one to side with.

SUMMER WINTER finished 0.5 lengths behind CALL ME JANE last time. She is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

CALL ME JANE was caught late when second over this distance on the turf last time. The daughter of Querari is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

Race 5

CAPPELLINO should have finished closer to the winner last time as he was baulked for running room between the 300m mark and 200m mark. Both his career victories have come over this C&D. He has cracked pole position and if all goes according to plan, he can return to winning ways. He is carded to race on 31 December 2025 and his progress in that race will need to be monitored.

GRAND FORCE followed up his maiden win with a good fourth-place finish over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. He has won once and finished third twice from as many starts over this C&D. The son of Global View should produce another honest effort.

KAAPSE KLOPSE finished 0.65 lengths behind the second choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and he may have to settle for the same result.

Race 6

CIRCUMBENDIBUS was an easy winner of his last two starts, the latest of which was over 1000m on the turf. He received a six-pound penalty for that victory. The son of Vercingetorix is clearly in a good space and can notch up the hat-trick.

MVELELO is a winner of his last three starts. He is unbeaten from two efforts over this C&D. The son of What A Winter takes on stronger but he should be up to the task at hand.

WILD AT WAR hails from the visiting Candice and Tammy Dawson stable. His penultimate run when second over 1200m at the Vaal was encouraging. He finished second in his only attempt over this C&D. Keagan de Melo is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.

Race 7

COPACABANA was given a peach of a ride when winning her last start over this distance on the turf. Two of her five career victories have come on this course. Apprentice Damyan Pillay takes the 2.5kgs off her back which will assist her cause. She should get a good run in transit from barrier two and may be the one to side with.

FUTANO finished 1.2 lengths behind the top choice last time. She is 0.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.

IZIBULO ran a good race when third against stronger over this C&D last time. She drops back in class and Keagan de Melo is booked to ride. With a bit of luck from the widest draw, she should be involved at the finish
